Q: Can you wear spin shoes with these? Is there a place on opposite side of shoe basket to clip spin shoes in?

No... these are just covered pedals. We used these on our peloton so we didn't have to but the clip in shoes.

Q: It appears to have a little bit of lock tight on the thread. I don’t want to have any problem removing them from my road bike. Will it be an issue?

Could also try some brake cleaner. Then install with a little nickel anti-seize. Pedals will tend to self tighten so thread locking compound is unnecessary. Also if you have aluminum crank arms & install steel axel pedals the threaded joint may corrode making them difficult to remove next time. The reason for the nickel anti-seize.

Q: Do these fit ativafit bikes?

Most crank arms have 9/16” thread for pedals. If your bike has this size they will fit.
