This was a great product. A very good value. It did have a strong latex smell when it arrived. We put it on a mannequin head for a few days outside. The smell was completely gone. It was a hit at the costume party

The Sans mask I have gotten looks exactly like the picture and was painted well. Nicely made with care. It is made of a rubber/laytex material that is very similar to what some older halloween masks were made off back in the early 2000s/90s (and possibly before then) which brought me some unexpected nostalgia to a time when I was a child trick or treating. I know for certain that I've had a skeleton mask and a green witch mask made of this material at some point when I was a kid.Random nostalgia aside, seeing is a little restricted which could be an issue for some people, but it is something your eyes/brain can adjust to over the time wearing it for probably quite a few many people, so I don't count that to be a deal breaker. Some reviewers have noted a chemical smell, I too have noticed this, but the smell legit lessens/goes away after awhile (few days, few weeks at most), so if you are sensitive to smells, just let it sit for a few days after getting this mask before wearing it for a con, video, trick or treat, party, or for whatever else reason you bought it and you should, in my opinion, 100% be fine. Much like the older rubber halloween masks I mentioned earlier, breathing ability could be a concern for some people. Its not a tight mask & its actually a little big in my opinion when compared to most masks I have worn, and I feel like air can get in ok (especially at the bottom of the mask), BUT there is no nose/mouth holes which could be seen as a modern day safety concern in some people's eyes, even though it was something completely fine back in the day.I personally love this mask, but I can also totally see how it would have a few flaws in the eyes of other people. Quality is decent, only two issues i had is the ship it folded so it can go into a small envelope so it has creases in the latex and second , they used permanent marker to color in the black , not paint. If handled to much it smudges onto the white of the mask .But overall it serves what it is meant to do , my son is happy with it .

Too small and smelly

Bought for 12year old son. I bought the adult sized mask because my son has a larger head. The mask was a little big for him but he still used it. Give it a week or more to air out--outside. He loved it! Looks just like pictured. We did have to modify the eye holes but it worked out well.
