This works great, ever since we’ve been using it we haven’t had any algae in our pond. Small bottles but goes along way.

I have used this product before. It works well for me. My pond water is slightly tan because of catfish, about an acre and I have a medium blue from one bottle. Two bottles give a richer blue.

I like the color of the dye and it seems to do a good job keeping the algae away. The color did not last the eight weeks that is suggested on the label, but perhaps I need to use more next time. Overall, I am pleased with this. You can see the before and after pictures, with the bright green being the colored pond.

I have been putting dye in my pond for over 20 years and have tried all brands. Hands down this has been the best I have ever used. It has been dry so not as much runoff as usual but what I put in last fall still had some color this spring. Definitely will be my go to product from now on. Now I just need it to become available again.

It's been a few days since I added this one bottle. There is little if any evidence there was any dye added to the pond at this point. Dropping overall rating to one star.I've a one acre, 3-10ft deep still pond I aerate for circulation. I normally go thru 4-6 gallons of top of the line Aquashade dye a year. Looking to save a buck I figured I'd give this "1.5 acre coverage" bottle of dye a try. Nope, overnight it produced a very opaque blueish coloring but still able to view pond bottom at 3'+ depth level. Not good for sunlight filtering which is my intent. So a single bottle may be OK for appearances but not serious light filtering for growth control on at least a one acre pond. I'd have to dump maybe three bottles in to equal one of AS costing more in the long run

This dye works decent with good coverage. I usually have to use 1.5 jugs to get the coverage I want and that’s fine.Cancelled my subscription for it though due to the way it gets packaged. First time one side was blown out and taped back in place with the product bouncing all around in the box that was twice the size for what was needed. Second time (pictures attached) two sides ripped and taped back up with ripped corners. One of the jugs had partially opened allowing some dye to leak out. Not knowing it had soaked through, the dye got on my hand and on our dining table. Not a happy camper.
