ZIRH Men's Skincare PREPARE Pre-Shave Oil, 1.0 Fl Oz

Let me start by saying that in the past, I would almost always get red bumps, or break out after shaving. The hairs on my neck grow horizontally, and I have always had a problem getting a close shave for it around my adam's apple. I used to use a 4 blade razor, and then switched to a DE safety razor with a brush after getting frustrated and reading a lot about getting a better shave - that definitely helped, but I would still feel a bit raw/red on my neck after shaving....then I tried Zirh Prepare.my ex got it for me with Zirh Clean (which I had been a huge fan of beforehand), but I never used it because putting oil on my face seemed counter productive to my acne issue (and once I forgot about her I also forgot I had this! :P) 2 drops for each side of my face was plenty, and as soon as I took my first stroke (against the grain) I knew there was a difference when I could barely feel a blade against my skin. I now get zero problems and get the closest shaves I've ever had. No more red bumps and no more acne/rawness!Kind of expensive, but if you're like me, you know that $14 is worth it to fix a problem you'll have every morning.PS The clumping some users comment on, it washes off in a second under the faucet or twirled in a sink of water.. I don't understand how people think that's a huge problem, maybe I'm just grateful my other problems went away that spending a second to rinse my razor means nothing to me - lol!

This is great if you use pre-shave oils, and I keep this little plastic bottle in my travel kid. SMooooooth,,, yes! But.... it is not scented and actually has a bit of an oily, (motor) smell. Not bad or horrible, but not pleasent either. So, for travel, the plastic bottle is great, works very well, but if you want something for every day, Go with Taylor of Bond Street, or Art of Shaving.

Great product. I have a few problem areas when I shave and this oil, used sparingly, does the job. Using this product, you don't even need to use a super expensive shaver, softening your beard works wonders in terms of getting you a close, smooth shave. Two or three drops is all you need. I will definitely reorder when I run out.

I got this oil for use as a "finishing pass" lubricant to smooth off the last little rough spots when wet-shaving. The oils are botanical and it is nearly unscented. If I could change one thing, it would be to add some lovely smelling essential oil (lavender maybe) for an enhanced shaving experience.

Zirh Prepare is the first pre-shave oil I have found that's just as good as the $30-$50.00 over priced premium stuff that everybody elseraves about on Amazon. I know because I used some of that other stuff with excellent results but can no longer afford to.I think I've found the perfect replacement and I'm ordering another backup bottle today so i don't run out of it.

I really like this stuff, and it does help me to shave closer. I have a pretty thick beard, and this is the only product that actually makes a difference. The drawback is the price for such a small amount. I'd use it every day if I could, but now I use it only on special occasions.

I had used this Zirh product for over five years not been disappointed yet. The oil makes it easy for the hairs in the razor blade rinse out easier when under water. Also, leave my face feel nice and smooth that feels great. A great product at a great price. Buy it!!!!
