Glorious

A rare and original film which achieves so much.A few actors and one set create a story which manages to balance the cosmic and the personal, the funny and the sad, the beautiful and the terrifying all at the same time.Near enough perfect.

Phenomenally performed by Ryan Kwanten as he makes up about 95% of the total screentime, so a less talented actor could have left the whole thing feeling rather flatReally liked the story and how it progresses with the interjections to his memories to flesh out his painThe ending really sold it to me... and I loved the final sequence.. no spoilers, but it really puts things into perspective :)

Shades of the Evil Dead and plenty of ingenuity on a low budget. Really enjoyed this little slice of cosmic horror and also realised at the end that it was directed by one of my favourite podcasters, Dr Rebekah McHendry.

Like Saw meets Lovecraft.

Go into it with an open mind and it just surprises you with how clever it is!

I’ve enjoyed the actor since true blood. It’s almost all of him in movie and he does catty it well. I’ll leave it up to you to device the ending. Did it happen or not just fun to get to that point

This one came out of no where. Cosmic horror at its finest. D.B. Sweeney gives a great, super subtle performance. Shutter has done it again!
