Hi-Hat and sound quality problems
After just one year of light use HiHat wont stay on and sound is so bad that I have to use external speakers. What replacement for pedal will work ?

Great beginners electric drum
Yes, please! This is a great beginner's electric drum set for playing at home. Our son just completed his first year in beginners band, on the drums. We were looking for a way for him to practice at home. This little drum will be great for practicing hearing and staying on beat for songs at different speeds and drumming levels. My only complaint is that the instructions are a bit convoluted. Instead of reading all of them to figure out what we're doing, he's just played around with the set and figured most of it out for himself. I also wish there was a song book included, so that he could practice reading the notes, while listening and drumming. Overall, good investment. And, I think we'll get lots of use out of it. We were surprised that is't a big bigger than we expected. Great for a tween. It comes with two pedals for learning a little more advanced drumming as well.
