My family throw jars out with spread still in - it is too much trouble to get a spoon and scrape it out. I thought this would be a gimmick they might use - and they do. They get another slice of toasts worth out of most jars - saving me a few pennies.

It was cute and colorful, so I thought my child might appreciate playing with it in the kitchen. The whole thing is pretty rigid and I worry he might pull the "bill" off. It's not like other silicone coated spatulas. But it will be useful even if it's not a favorite toy.

I was skeptical at first, but this silicone jar scraper is a game changer! It's flexible yet durable, making it easy to get every last bit of jam, peanut butter, or any other sticky substance out of the jar without making a mess. I also love the cute platypus design and the fact that it's BPA-free and food safe. It's become a staple in my kitchen and I can't imagine going back to using a regular knife or spatula. Highly recommend!

A really useful spatula for emptying all jars but especially the small ones.

It's supposed to get peanut butter out of the jar, but it's way to floppy.
