ProCook Induction Hob Converter Diffusing Disk 19cm

The disk and handle is fairly sturdy. The handle gets warm in use, but not too hot. Heat transfer from the hob to the pan seems fairly efficient, but not as efficient as a pan in direct contact with the hob, which I guess is to be expected. I've been able to use aluminium pans etc on our induction hob - a frying pan, an egg poacher and a percolator.

Discoloured a bit on first use, but works well and does exactly what it says on the tin. Good value fix for items that’s won’t work on an induction hob.

It means I can use my stainless steel pan on an induction hob.

This is a really useful product. I have recently changed from gas hob to induction, and I knew my main pots and pans were induction-suitable. But one or two favourite items I'd forgotten about - in particular my stovetop coffee maker. Seemed a shame to have to get rid of it - but thanks to this diffusing disk I don't need to! The disk is solid and easy to clean. Just one little snag on first opening the package - sellers please note - the label was so firmly glued to the centre of the disk that it was a struggle to clean off the glue, and I had to use a scourer that left a few scratches. But otherwise a good buy and I would recommend.

As a temporary measure to avoid buying expensive induction pots this product proved invaluable. My normal good quality stove top pots are used on a temporary induction hob now. The only 'dislike' is the fact that this diffiusing disk stains (despite being good quality stainless steel), but it doesn't affect the way it works, so it doesn't worry me. A good buy for my temporary requirements

This product is great for people who have an induction hob but have a couple of pans which aren’t induction suitable. The plate itself warms up very fast, but it does take a while for the pan on top to warm up, more similar to an electric hob. It isn’t as quick as using an induction pan straight on the hob but it saves throwing a good non-induction pan away. The handle does stay cool while in use and the whole product feels solid and well made, I think it will last many years. I personally think it looks really smart and professional, plus it is obviously very easy to store and takes almost no space in the cupboard.

This product has been a waste of my time. It takes a long time before the pot gets hot and therefore I have had to buy an induction pot which heats very fast.
