Convenient size with a quirky design
It took some time, but this little light grew on me and now I really like it's flexibility, even though the design is, well, kind of weird.First of all, there's the red base. This is where the battery is housed and if you want to use this light without having it plugged into a wall or computer or something else with a USB A port, you'll need to use the base. However, the light itself can be detached from the base, so it is possible to use it with a different power source, and in this case the red base will... just sit there doing nothing. Another possibility is detaching the light, clipping it onto something and keeping the base nearby so that the light can plug into it - but the cord is pretty short, so whatever you clip the light on to has to be fairly close to wherever you leave the base. On the plus side, you can also use the base to charge another device since it has two USB A ports that provide power out. I didn't try using it this way, though, since I have no need to do so - but it's nice to know it's there...Then there's the light itself. This is where the power switch is. However, it's not a switch, it's a touch sensitive spot on the clip and it's not JUST a power switch, it's also the dimmer switch, and the means of changing the light's color temperature. You just have to memorize the correct length and sequence of taps to make all of these changes. Some stats:Time from 100% to zero on high intensity, medium warmth = 12 hours, 28 minutesTime from 100% to zero on medium intensity, medium warmth - 1 day, 3 hours, 16 minutes (27 hours, 16 minutes)Time to charge 0 - 100%: 4 hours, 17 minutesIn the end, there are SO MANY ways that this device could be improved that I don't even know where to begin, but now that I've learned it's quirky ways, I actually quite like it. It's small and compact, the flexible arm is easy to adjust but stays where you put it and doesn't try to revert to a previous position and it's adjustable brightness and temperature makes it useful in a variety of situations.Bottom line: this light isn't for everyone. I can see many people becoming frustrated with it, but I've grown to appreciate its versatility, even though it's an odd little light.

Cute desk light and charger!
Have a smaller work/desk area? This is perfect for a small work space. The light can detach from the charger base and clip onto your desk edge. The battery life isn't the best, but I just keep it plugged in and I have no issues.

It works, but it is frustrating.
Let’s start with what I like about this lamp. It doesn’t weight much, it is a minimal design, it produces a range of light intensity, and it does provide a power bank for on the go. The battery held a charge and provided wireless use.Ok, ow what I don’t like. The cord that came with it quit working after only a few days of use. That’s not a huge deal because we have extras laying around, but for $30 you expect a cable that lasts. The instructions for the light/power bank is not helpful at all. I’m embarrassed to say I wasn’t sure if I would even get it turned on. The button is the most frustrating part of this design. It has a single button design that you will have to hunt for. You long press to turn the light on and off, and short press to change the brightness. Here is where the real problem lies. It’s not really a button, it’s just a sensor and it isn’t very sensitive. Add to that the delay and you won’t want to use the light very often.

This make for a fantastic task lamp when you need more light.
I ordered this for a specific task: To shine light onto a phono cartridge while setting up turntables for audio systems. The job is a difficult one, you need to get the almost microscopic needle to land on a super tiny little target while holding a magnifying glass and an allen wrench. You can barely get your eyes to the right angle to see what's going on. One thing helps - lots and lots of light in the right spot. While that job is very specific, there are a million other situations where a little light in the right spot really is what you need. This lamp delivers. The build quality is very high and both the lamp and the power-bank feel expensive. The gooseneck stays where you put it, and the base is heavy enough to keep the lamp from falling over. It's extremely nice that you can choose to use the clip on the lamp rather than the base if it's necessary for the job.I can't say enough good things about this lamp. It's something everyone should have in their house, they'll find a million uses for it. It makes for a great gift.

Tries to be everything, succeeds at none of it
This lamp is *not* a cordless book light. It always need to be umbilicaled to its base/battery or plugged in. The controls are clunky, unnecessarily complex and unresponsive. The clip is too big, the battery back is too closely linked to the light and it's just awkward as heck to use. For $40 you could get both a book light and an inexpensive desk lamp. I am not impressed.

I love this light for it's versatility and can use it anywhere
This light is awesome. The battery is in the base and it can last a really long time with just the main led's needing to be powered. This has become a part of my tool box no question a bout it. I can clip it on things or use the base. The light stays where you put it which makes it perfect for working in tight areas. Being able to change the warmth of the light is a great extra feature. You can also power the light off any usb plug which helps make it so versatile. If there was a complaint to make its that when it is in the base you still have to run a usb cord to the light. If they could add an electrical connection to the base which made you not need the cord when on it that would make this thing absolutely perfect

Nice design. Can be used on a base or clamped to something.
Nice compact design, heavy base with built-in charging ports, and a clamp option for versatility. I like the light weight of the goose neck and light wand. Without the base it is suitable for clamping to a computer monitor or piano music holder, or to an overhead shelf, or lots of other possibilities. With the base, the light becomes a nice desk lamp which also has two USB charging ports, so you can run one USB charging cable to the base, power the lamp with one port, and something else with the other. This can possibly keep the cordage clutter to a minimum. The light color temperature can be adjusted from a bright cool, down to a nice warm color, as seen in the pix. I like it.
