This product changed my husband’s life. He has IBS - specifically, problems with mannitol, GOS, and fructans. Mannitol was easy enough for him to avoid, but avoiding fructans was very difficult and led to a very restrictive diet and a lot of weight loss to the point of being quite underweight. He didn’t experience much joy in food, and as an as a family that had previously loved to eat out and enjoy all different kinds of cuisine, that was gone from his life. And even though he was eating a very restrictive diet, he still often experienced problems. (The monash app was his guide, and they frequently re-categorized products anyways so it was constant confusion .) At first he was skeptical of this product, thinking it was perhaps a gimmick or scam, but I convinced him to give it a try. He was pretty surprised at how well it worked at first, but it wasn’t perfect and although it gave him some relief (which he considered a victory), he still wasn’t entirely sold. But over time, he got better at using it - it took some trial and error for him to figure out how best to get it to work for him. By this I mean that he learned to adjust the serving size of this powder. The serving size can be confusing, such as when when eating out at restaurants, because you’re not always sure of everything that could be in a dish or the serving sizes of the ingredients in the dish. And he is more sensitive to some foods than others, so he uses a little more for those. And for some raw fruits, this seems to work, and for others, it does not…at least for him. We’ve concluded that each person’s gut must be so unique that it varies some for different people so may take some tinkering. Having said all of that, he has been using this for about a year and a half now, and he does not leave home without it. He has an ongoing subscription to this product, and although it is expensive, we have decided it is worth it. He does not hunch over in pain anymore for hours. Our family can eat out at restaurants again. He enjoys the foods that he has always loved, although there are still about 6 to 10 foods that he knows to avoid. Essentially, he has food joy back in his life again. And as his wife, I see that it has impacted his mood in his everyday life. He’s happier and less blue. We are so thankful for this. But please, if you decide to buy this product and it doesn’t completely work at first, give it some time and try it in different ways and at different doses.

This stuff is AMAZING! Honestly, it's changed my meals drastically and in a very good way. No more stomach upset when eating certain things. And I can enjoy foods that I thought I'd never taste again. It's expensive, but to me worth it so I can occasionally enjoy what I love. There is a taste and slight texture to it. I just put the whole small scoop on my first bite and get it out of the way so that I can enjoy the rest of the food. It's not the worst taste, just different. Caution- don't use it on food that's too hot or it won't work. There is a warning about that, but I didn't read it and learned the hard way.

If you do not know this product works for you I would not order it from Amazon. My daughter and I both tried it. It did not help me at all and my daughter felt worse than when she just eats dairy. I tried to return it but I can't return it through Amazon. I have to try to get a refund from the actual company.

I don’t write reviews, but I’ve struggled with stomach pain and bloating after I eat for so many years. I’m celiac, so I went gluten free but had pain. Have discovered that fodmaps really hurt , especially onions and garlic and leafy vegetables.I bought this and took it with me on a Disney trip. Put it on my meals. It made a SIGNIFICANT difference. Things I know always hurt me didn’t , or it was very minimal.I would say my discomfort decreased by 90-95 percent. It did not effect the flavor of my food at all.I normally take digestive aids and gas X, peppermint, and eliminate all I can , as well as being prescribed different prescription drugs , even being told I have food anxiety.This works more than other things I’ve tried.

Ok, I waited 2 weeks to review. I use digestive enzymes and I was hoping something would work better for garlic and onions. I think this is working. I don't have negative side effects from this. It does affect the texture of food though and the dispenser is a MESS. That's why I took it down a star. There needs to be a better dispenser. Touching the little spoon with my fingers always results in powder everywhere. The powder does stick to the roof of your mouth for a second, but for those of us battling IBS it's not enough to stop me from using it. I want to add that it not only helps with the meals I eat, but my digestion is a whole. That was a pleasant surprise. I normally have nausea and upset several days a week, and now it's like once every few weeks. I bought a travel salt shaker to put it in, so it's not a mess to dispense.

Use the included little scoop to sprinkle over your meal to enjoy foods that set off your fodmap red and yellow zone food. Helps somewhat. Why can’t doctors figure out a cure?

This is an amazing product. I bought for my daughter she has a horrible stomach issues every time she eats.She tried it tonight. I made asparagus cream soup. Fried diced potatoes. That would give her bad stomach problems. She said mom the food did not bother me at all. She said this enzyme really works. She had tried lactaid it doesn't help. This fodzyme is a miracle.
