My 8 year old daughter loves doing these. It’s a fun and easy craft that she can do on her own and she sits down and takes her time doing it.

I bought this for my 5 year old and she loved the idea of it, but got tired of the work involved to actually make the suncatchers. I found that the jewels were tricky to remove from the backing and often the glue stayed behind making the jewel unusable. I had a hard time picking up the jewels as they are very close together. It is a nice idea and probably would work great for a 10 year and up child with lots of patience. I also found that some of the diagrams used a lot of jewels that were not provided.

This is a nice kit. It is really for small kids. It is not really what I expected it to be. It is really cute though.

Looks like a fun craft kit when the grandkids come over. The package contains six separate designs that look like stained glass outlines. These design are on a thick piece of transparent plastic; the designs include butterfly, whale, flower, sun, flamingo and goldfish.There is a color guide that can be attached to the back of the plastic guide using tape. This will give you the exact color and location to place the sticky gems.My only issue with this set is the gems are not separated by design. So when the grandkids work on them , they will need to make sure they can share and coordinate the use of each color.I’m excited to see the final products and have the perfect window to hang them on.

I have 3 daughters, 8,9 &10, they love doing arts and crafts. They discovered diamond art this past year and they love it. Unfortunately some diamond kits can get expensive. So I was looking for more budget friendly kits I could get for them. This kit is great, comes with everything you need and has multiple designs. Excellent arts and craft project

This is a nice little activity to pull out on a rainy day, when visiting family, or while traveling. It's low mess - just maybe some loose gem stickers that accidentally get stuck to other things. It's easy for kids to complete. Maybe just some adult help to tape the clear top sheet to the bottom color guide.This also helps with fine motor skills for the younger ages. The gems come in 2 sizes, which kids can manage.The finished pictures can be hung on a window for a pretty, sparkly effect.
