THE NORTH FACEWomen's 1996 Retro Nuptse Jacket

My former North Face (I've had for years) was wearing out, zipper snagging, pulling apart and fabric permanently pitch-stained from carrying firewood. Searched hard for one to replace it with that is big enough around but also had short sleeves. I'm 5'4", 140#. While I will be keeping this one, it's a bit of a disappointment as the jacket length itself is about two inches shorter than my old coat, the pockets smaller, and pockets set a bit too high for comfort. Since it has fewer baffles than my old coat, it's also not quite as warm as the older one with more baffles. Definitely not warm in the pockets. However, there is nothing locally here in my rural Alaska community that comes close, so it will have to do.
