I like! They are quite realistic and make play time fun. I love that you can slice them up as it makes playing ‘kitchen’ even more fun and more realistic. I can’t fault this. Just so you know how much the little one loves them, she has been playing with them daily for a few weeks and still isn’t bored.

Most lovable vegetables cutting set for kids . They really loved and playing with them every time. Great colors and keep them entrained. Its a strong and high quality. It consists of 8 pieces of fruits and vegetables which will be useful for playing. Overall very good and safe to use for the kids.

This is a good quality play set that features, very bright colours made of a hard plastic so probably won’t break as easily if stood on. In the box it comes with a variety of fruit and veg, fake knife and a chopping board.The slices stick together with Velcro and the Velcro is good quality so it should last a while. When you cut the fruit, it makes a satisfying sound and feel so it's perfect for asmr too.Some of the fruit have really nice details when sliced open, the corn and banana has skin that you can peel off so it makes it more realistic, there are some little loose pieces that come off the top of some of the fruit so just be careful as a young child could choke on them , mine arrived with the postage label on the box itself so couldn't be used as a gift and just ruins the box so I put the contents in a zip lock bag.

Okay…so what I really liked was the attention to detail with this little plastic set of play food. When you ‘cut’ the orange and the pepper open it’s beautifully detailed inside…much more than any other play fruit and veg I’ve come across.I also like that the corn and the banana ‘open’ in more of a peely way as the real things do. No one I know simply cuts a banana in half with its skin on so this is far more true to life. That said, I feel these two in particular might be a little flimsy and more easily broken/stood on.**Now for the weirdness…firstly the name on the box ‘The Cutting Game’. It just sounds like a macabre self harm game as opposed to play food for young children. Then, the ‘carrot’ is white (surely a parsnip?) but on the box is named as a carrot and I don’t know if this is just me, but I’d prefer the knife to be just plain. It’s clearly made to look as if it has fruit or vegetable juice staining it, but I find it a little odd. Maybe I just have read too many crime novels though!!The plastic details (tops to the strawberry, aubergine and banana) are small and fiddly, so one for the 4 years and plus I’d say.It’s okay as a little set but overall I think it’s overpriced for what it is (£17 as I write this review).** update: having now been played with, the child playing ‘peeled’ the banana as you would expect….and snapped each ‘peel’ right off with no effort at all.

I ordered this set for my grandchildren who are 2 and 4 years of age. They absolutely loved this play food and happily played chopping fruit and veg for some time. Just stopping to argue over who had the knife!Unlike others of this type they are super detailed with leaves and skins that are detachable. Certainly the best I've seen.Unfortunately, the manufacturer has misjudged the application of the velcro stickers. The velcro is stronger than the adhesive so they become detached much to the kids disappointment. It looks like grandad will be getting the super glue out!Recommended but I've dropped a star because the the problem with the velcro.

Not only are these fun for my toddler to cut, they are pretty ingeniously designed to add layers of fun. The veg and fruit come with green springs for the top. The water melon comes with an outer layer and the sweet corn comes inside some leaves that fold back, even the banana needs to be peeled before chopping.My son is already obsessed, and these are the first thing he reaches for when he starts to play in the morning.The only negative for me if that although they are designed well, the small touches when they were made have been missed in some places. On some fruit the velcro pads dont stick and come off of the fruit. Also when the a banana was assembled at manufacturing it must've bee squashed as the plastic pins inside havent been lined up properly. Still a very good toy though!

Brightly coloured and interesting for young children. Chopping vegtables that actually fall in half with the help of the plastic Chefs knife.26 pieces in total.A really nicely thought out toy.
