I like using natural products. This combination of oils smells good. I sprayed it as a bug barrier and also on spiders that were making webs on my plants.

We ordered this insect killer because of plant based natural solution. Bottomline, it does work but it was not “fast” enough. Maybe it is not strong enough to kill the insects on contact. And it was not effective on some of the big bugs, similar to other sprays. Although it was not one stop solution as we hope, we continue to use this spray with other chemicals.

We live in a tropical environment where there are a lot of insects. I am particularly susceptible to bug bites so I was eager to try this out. We have young children so we always prefer to use natural ingredient based bug sprays. I have been using lavender for years but it only works to a certain extent. I would say the same for this product. It is not going to work as well as a chemical DEET based insect repellent. However, it does about as good of a job, perhaps a little better, at repelling bugs than a natural lavender spray. It won't keep all the creepy crawlies away but it does repel them to a certain degree. My husband is currently testing the spray on our tomato plants and avocado trees. So far so good in that department.

This spray really seems to be a plant-based (clove oil and cottonseed oil), deterrent product? It's not really clear from the description exactly what it is meant to do. It does say it's 'laboratory-tested' (what lab?) and acts fast in killing outdoor bugs. Also says it's effective on spiders, flies, hornets, earwigs, ants and mosquitos. The description also says it safe to use around/on? in? various places. Am I supposed to spray the bugs themselves to kill them? Or am I supposed to spray 'surfaces' on my 'patios, deck, garage, garden or lawn'? I'm not too sure. To test this, I sprayed outside my home, on grass, on dirt, around a porch post, and on one potted plant. There is a faint smell of cloves, very nice. After 24 hours, I did not notice anything different. Grass and plant okay. Didn't see any dead bugs. No stains on anything. One thing to note, the product comes with a full cap AND a seal (I like that). The spray nozzle is in the bag with the bottle. When you go to install the spray nozzle - it's a locking twist on connection. Be SURE to crank it on tight when you screw it on - otherwise the product will leak. My impression of this product is that it is a water-based, sort of home remedy to keep bugs at bay. I plan to take it to camp, where there are a lot of spiders - and see if it helps. It very well might. I'll update this review with more results of my tests.

I received one 24oz size bottle of "BugPursuit Instant Natural Outdoor Pest Control Spray".The bottle arrives in a clear plastic bag. You have to remove the foil seal & insert the sprayer lid.I thought I would try this on ants in my bedroom. Although this product is geared mainly towards outdoor use I'm pretty sure I remember reading on the back of the bottle that it can also be used indoors as well.I live in an old apartment and unfortunately the foundation is settling leading to cracking around the baseboards & black ants. Not a ton but I don't like bugs (period).The sprayer lid has the option where you can turn it to like a stream, regular spray & off.Directions are basically you just shake the bottle & spray on the bug or bugs (directly).Does it work? Yes, for Ants. I haven't tried it on anything else yet. I seen an Ant going across the floor and sprayed this on it & the Ant immediately died.The spray has a light clove type scent which is barely noticeable. It didn't leave a sticky mess on my tile floor either.Comparing this product to another bug spray I have tried such as "Raid : Ant & Roach Killer". This bug spray killed the Ant right away while the Raid bug spray seems to confuse the Ant as it stumbles around like a drunk & then eventually dies. This bug spray is more expensive but it doesn't have an overwhelming lung burning scent. It also doesn't leave a sticky residue on my tile floor.
