These shoes proved me wrong!!!
The shoes look great and feel good. But I am not sure they will survive long enough to warrant the price. I am used to the Merrell Trail Glove Leather shoes ($80) which usually lasts 2 years under very harsh conditions. But since they are being discontinued, I have to find an alternative. These are made of "vegan-friendly" materials which translates to cheap plastic like material with an added dose of virtue signaling. After 1 week of wear, I anticipate them to survive maybe 3 months. They are very stiff and do not show any signs of breaking in as a proper shoe made of leather does. Also, the tongue can lump up awkwardly when lacing them up. One thing of note, they are described as being fully water proof. Perhaps if your water is dehydrated. I was using a lightly damp wash cloth to wipe the dust off the outside of the shoes and my hand that was in the shoe got wet. DO NOT buy these if you require water proof shoes. If there is a price drop, I may get a second pair. Otherwise, I will go back to German made ZAQQs and endure the slow shipping to have quality barefoot shoes.Four months in and I was wrong. These shoes have proven to be great. My previous comments about them being waterproof still stands. But these shoes have proven to be far more durable than I had previously thought. I pit at least 10 hard miles a day on them and they are still in excellent condition!

I like the quality
The shoes fit as expected. They are very light. At first, I thought they were made from cheap materials and had skimped on some things as I was expecting a lot of cushion which these don't have. But as this is my first pair of this kind/type of shoe, I started to realize, they don't have all that un-necessary stuff - only the good stuff. They are very warm and I like to walk in them. I haven't yet tried out the waterproof-ness but plan to. I would definitely buy again.

suprised with quality and comfort
I'll start by saying I never review products... I bought a pair of these just over a month ago. I am on my feet a lot in some pretty demanding environments. I work in a metal fabrication shop and run a small farm (yes I'm "supposed" to wear steel-toes in the shop, but these shoes are just too comfortable). My feet and back have never felt better. It took roughly a week for the achey feeling in my arches to go away, but that was just my feet getting worked out like they never have before. My feet don't hurt or get tired anymore after a 16 hour day. I literally can't wear shoes or boots with heels or a narrow toe box anymore, it feels very unnatural and unstable. They are also actually water proof and suprisingly warm for how light they are. I was worried because my feet tend to get cold long before the rest of me, but I wear these in the cold, muddy farm conditions with no issues. There are many zero drop shoes out there, and granted I have only tried this brand, but from someone who demands a lot out of their footwear, I'm pretty happpy with this product. The price is well worth it. The one only gripe I have about the shoes is that they are made in China. But this is the world we live in now.

A Little Disappointed
I really like the comfort and feel of the shoes but I was a little disappointed at the quality. I had to send back the due to a defect in the construction. The second pair I received the pull on strap snapped on the first wear. I’m going to continue to give them a try to see how they hold out. After a week of wearing these shoes, the insoles won’t stay in place and will crawl backwards inside the shoe making them uncomfortable to wear. I literally have to remove my shoe to put the insole back in the correct position 3 to 4 times each time I wear them. Very disappointed after spending so much on these shoes.

Not worth the premium price.
I'll start off by saying that I bought these solely because they weren't ugly and were the closest thing to a normal looking boot height sneaker. I chose a zero drop shoe because I injured my foot hiking last year and these alleviated the pain on the ball of the large toe. These ran a little bit large in my normal size of 8.5. Not just length but also toe box width, when wearing boot/hiking socks though it's fine. The overall weight is very light, the quality of the materials does feel pretty cheap. The water resistancy of these shoes seems to be fine, I have never fully submerged them where I go hiking. That does bring me to a large negative of these, they are outright dangerous on slippery surfaces; rocks, pavement, concrete, logs, you will slip, you will fall. These get xero(hah) points for wet grip. The tread does look fairly aggressive, but it's soft. I saw other reviews complaining the the treads wore down after just a few uses and I dismissed that as sensationalism, and it mostly is. I've hiked and worn these as normal everyday shoes for a couple of months and the heels did noticeably wear down. These boots/shoes, whatever you want to call them, they're fine. They're just not worth what Amazon or the Manufacturer are charging, especially when you can get a known American made brand name for the same amount of money, you just have to live with a hideous looking pair of shoes and a normal drop sole.

Materiali duri.

Nice boots
I had the opportunity to test them in the mountains here. They work ok. They're not very warm, so you have to compensate with warm socks if you're hiking at lower than -5 or so. Otherwise they are nice boots.

Safety matters
Have been using Xero Shoes Men's Xcursion Fusion for 3 months now,Zero Drop, Light Weight, - 100% agree. I dont care if its ugly.Fully Waterproof? - Nope. More to water resistant. Walking in the rain for 30min, you can feel moisture from the bottom. Had to deal with wet socks the whole day. Even had my waterproof pants over the shoes. -*Hiking Boot? - Nope. It is slippery everywhere. On the rocks, the road, tiles, sands, grass and soils. For safety, I am not recommending this shoe/boot.

Really comfy and feels well made, but...
It isn't waterproof!!! I would say its water resistant at best. On my first walk it started raining for the last ~1.5km. The rain wasn't that hard and I avoid puddles because you never know whats in them... When I got home I noticed some damp spots on the top of my sock. Feeling inside the lining felt damp above the toe box. Before anyone says it isn't sweat as the soles of my feet were bone dry and that's normally the sweaty part of my feet! Since I planned on wearing these to work and I walk as my commute I don't want to end up wearing damp shoes for 8 hours+ so I've returned them. Its a shame as they felt well made and fit really well with just enough ankle. I went a size up as I'm wearing thick socks with them. These were a size UK M 9.5, Xero Z-Treks I wear a UK M8 and Merrell Moab 3 GTX a UK M 9.
