It works but….
It works as intended. It mirrors your phone and works the second you plug it in. The only problem is most apps like netflix hulu etc do not work. If you want to watch things you downloaded or maybe a spicy film. That will work fine

Not compatible for streaming services
It’s my fault that I had to return the product, I did not fully read the product description. I bought it to use to connect my iPhone se to my LG projector tv. Suffice it to say that it did not work for Netflix and/or Prime. I didn’t try it for YouTube but it probably wouldn’t work for it either since it isn’t set up for streaming.What I found incredibly odd was that it had built in hardware/software that displays a welcome message when connected to the iPhone and the HDMI cable.In terms of quality, I’ll be honest it felt more durable than the Apple product I was trying to replace. I know about planned obsolescence but it’s ridiculous that the brand name product doesn’t last very long at all. For the price even if this one lasts the same amount of time (just shy of two years), it’d be worth it at a third the price.Read the entire description before ordering. I’m only giving three stars for picture quality et al. But five stars for the price.
