Well written and easily digestible. Highly recommend.

Very informative book, and learned a lot about Hellenic Polytheism and what it entails. The author goes into great detail about the different gods and goddesses and how to properly pray, offer and set up your alter for the numerous gods and goddesses. Would recommend to anyone just starting to find their way in this fascinating religion.

In this book, Chris does an excellent job of describing his personal practice and showing newcomers how to beging to honor the Gods.Having seen his transition from a more Neo-Hellenic practitioner to a more historically grounded one, I can say that he writes from his experience. You can hear the authenticity in his words. I, personally, would have liked there to be more historical references in the book. But, I would still easily recommend this book as an easy secondary source on the Hellenic faith.Well done, Chris, I hope you and your family are doing well.

provides a good knowledge of what Hellenism is as well as how to practice on a daily basis, including how to assemble an altar and daily prayers along with offerings for each deity, spirit, and hero. also includes calendars of major events within the religion. a great starting point, and I recommend mastering the basics of daily worship found in this book before diving into larger ceremonial events anyway.

my go to for practice, really well written and feels really personal in a connection to the writter without it feeling like he is forcing you to do it exactly like he does, cant recommend enough for fellow hellenics.

Book is a great guide to Hellenismos. I would recommend this authors books to anyone serious about Hellenism and to beginners as well. A must read!

Bonjour, j'ai acheté ce livre car je suis nouvelle dans cette "religion" et je voulais être le plus informée possible afin de faire les bonnes choses.Je "connais" l'auteur grâce à sa page Facebook et je sais que je peux avoir confiance en lui.Ce livre apprend pas mal de choses, que ce soit les hymnes, les autels ou comment choisir de prier tel ou tel Héros. J'ai réussi à trouver ma voie grâce à lui.
