Great!
I love it, the design, the functionality. I bought it for camping but I also use it as a reading light and night light when going around my home without having to turn the lights on. I just wish the battery wasn’t permanently glued in and it time could be replaced as this is basically a consumable product.

Works as advertised
Not sure what the candle light mode does but works as advertised. The lamp shade does seem like a gimmick though

A Great Lantern With One Drawback.
A great small lantern but only with one drawback it doesn't work whilst charging but the light lasts a long time too.

Useful, but a tad expensive and not as good combined as individual torches for the same functions
This lantern packs away nicely, with the shade folding away to nothing (very flat), yet still attaching very easily to the torch body, held in place with some magnets. The torch itself has three modes - normal torch, white lamp, and a softer, warmer lamp that you have have flicker like a candle. All the modes are adequate, in that it doesn't excel at any of them, but will do the job in any mode. The torch mode in particular feels a little disappointing when you compare it to many modern Cree-based LED torches, but it's not really supposed to be something you light up the opposing mountain with...it's just for seeing your way to the toilet block in the dark, or finding something in a bag, which it does more than adequately.Lantern mode is also 'good enough', with plenty of brightness to light up your tent, or hang from a Gazebo with the included, foldaway loop, though that can be a little fiddly to extend, and isn't huge so you'll likely want to attach some paracord or similar to it.A small problem with having your loo torch and lantern in a combined unit is, you can only use it as one of the other. So if you're nipping to the loo, then anyone else will be sat in darkness until you return.Battery life is OK - I've not actually managed to run it down fully yet but haven't used it all night. Charging is via USB-C so easy to keep topped up.I've found myself worried that the large perspex lens will be susceptible to damage, but it's been thrown in my bag and made it through a couple of journeys now without any incident. The size is also acceptable - small enough to carry in a bag, but still useful. So not the greatest multi-function torch in the world, but not the worst...and I personally like the HOTO design language so think it looks nice in general. The only real problem is the price - whilst it's cheaper than some big brand torches like oLight, it's not very cheap in general comparison. You could almost certainly buy a separate lantern and torch, and get better features of both, for the same or less money.I got mine during the loooong Black Friday sales so saved a few quid. At the normal price, I think it's a bit too expensive.

Good quality but not worth the money
I got this at 50% off, and even at that price I don't think this is worth the purchase. The build quality is great, but it's smaller than it looks in the photos (almost comically so).The only bad thing I can say about the quality is that the lamp shade / collar isn't rigid, but flexible - which I guess is great for camping but it just doesn't feel premium enough for the price.
