Odds are if you need this, you're fixing the dreaded timing system failure all these 2.2 and 2.4l eco tec engines suffer from. The section on timimg chain and timing guide/ tensioner replacement is well written and easy to follow. You can trust some rando on the internet, or you can trust the Haynes manual. If you need information for critical engine work, do yourself a favor and spend the $20.

The stuff contained in this book is great, but its somewhat lacking on some regards such as for example certain engine procedures, and less often accessed stuff like the parking brake, etc

Book contains lots of pictures and clear, descriptive instructions. Also features introductions for each system describing how components interact with each other.

the book everyone should have for there vehicle

I have quite a few Haynes manuals and their content is relatively good and a viable alternative to the expensive OEM manuals. However, Haynes should get with the times as the image are still black and white and very difficult to view. The paper quality is non-existent; also it would be nice if they were offered in pdf so they could be searchable.
