So easy to use.

I have a Hyundai Elantra 2016. It was broken into last month visiting my sister. Thank goodness they were unsuccessful trying to steal my car but they broken rear passenger window and steering column they broke and damaged the ignition key to where I couldn’t start it. Any way got the club and this gear shift lock. So far so good although I’m in my area on a main street where there is really heavy traffic and neighbors looking out for each and constant police cars driving around everytime. I do have my back windows alarms and tracker installed. If you look at the pictures yes the gear shift lock look cheaply made but it does lock tightly around the gear and fits snuggly in the emergency brakes along with the the club. Hopefully, this will have deter them from my vehicle as gif my sister who stays in a rural area her boyfriend cleaned out the garage so when I visit I’m parked inside but I still put my devices on.

At first, I read the reviews others posted on Amazon about unscrewing the shifter knob and taking off the lock that way... If you look at the pictures I posted, you can clamp the lock on to the knob so that it is unable to twist off.The design works for me and my car set up (2009 scion xB) and I coupled it up with an alarm.*Update*This thing broke already. I literally had to take it apart to get it off my shifter. Didn't even last 6 months. The key would not open the lock anymore. 1- star.
