Great quality steel!
I ordered the version with the blued 1095 carbon steel blade. I'll admit the handle is a little gaudy and overly colorful, but my main concern was in finding a Highlander katana made of functional steel. I'm happy to say this blade is great. It will flex and spring right back, and it stays razor sharp. The fittings are fairly low quality and the scabbard is cringey, but again, this one was about the steel.
