All was ok

I need to say that I do not speak French and that this review is for a DVD that does not have English subtitles. I knew that was the situation when I ordered this DVD of Ensemble, C’est Tout and as daft as that may be, it was after reading the novel (with the English title Hunting And Gathering) that I decided to watch the film version.Obviously I cannot comment on the dialogue, but the acting seemed to be top class to me. I particularly thought that Françoise Bertin portrayal of Paulette was a delight to watch. All four main actors (Audrey Tautou as Camile Fauque, Guillaume Canet as Franck, Laurent Stocker as Philibert Marquet de la Tubelière and Françoise Bertin as Paulette) appeared to do an outstanding job.The film was, as is often the case, a “précis of the novel” but still enjoyable for me even without the subtitles.Sadly because some of the story (from the novel) was missing I have only given four stars.

The product is described as ENGLISH AUDIO, instead of it - it EVEN hasn't have ENGLISH SUBs.May I ask why I spent 26 pounds please?
