Love the fact that it's wireless and the wireless connection is over 100 ft (30M) so it will work well to monitor an outdoor BBQ or smoker. I tested the accuracy using a glass of hot water with three other thermometers and as you can see in the picture, they were all within 1° of each other.I was concerned that there is no on/off switch and the power is constantly consumed so you have to charge it before use each time. The good news is that with my 2.1 Amp charger, it only took a little about six minutes to charge. Plenty of time to charge while you prep or pre-heat and the charge lasts 4 hours.Can't wait to test it in the oven however it says the internal sensor max is 212° (100°C) to prevent damage. Although most meat or pie recipes call for internal temps of 160° to 180° the oven temperature is set at 350° to 400°. There is a warning to not use it in a pressure cooker or microwave but no warning about ovens so I guess it will be ok. As my father used to say, "If you can't stand the heat, stay out of the kitchen." (Or the oven!) Anyway, if it does break in the oven, I will post an addendum to this review.

It’s easy to clean, gives a quick reading, and has quick reference temps printed on it. I also love that it’s magnetic so I can attach it to the fridge or grill. Turns on and off automatically when you open it. Great buy!

More precise and more convenient than regular thermometers with cords. The distance is great, easy to charge, and very accurate! Better than other more expensive brands, win win !

This product is so well priced and blows analog alternatives out of the water. This third thermometer of this type I have been a part of purchasing (one for my grandfather's and aunt's kitchen's as well), and I keep coming back because I'm so satisfied with the result. It's accurate, fast and well made. I appreciate that it turn easily and shuts off automatically with lack of use. The LED back light makes reading the temp easy, the thin metal tip makes acquiring a very specific reading possible (without butchering what I'm working on), and I appreciate that it has the standard temperature readings for safely cooking meat on the thermometer so I don't have to use google to refresh my memory as I'm pulling something out of the oven. Highly recommend this product.

Excellent priced wireless thermometer and looking forward to many uses. I would recommend the notch on thermometer to be inserted past be made more visible. Barely noticeable and makes you forget to insert past this notch.
