Got it to work in the end....It is very difficult to immobilize the sliding parts and so the shelf is really unsafe. There are clips provided but no instructions about how to fit them and I could not get them to work. In the end I took a mallet and bricklayers chisel. I set the extension rails to the desired position and hit the outer tube between the spokes until it got squashed flat held the sliding sections in place. Did this in three places for all 4 corners. Now it works. If in doubt hit it hard with a mallet...

A bit disappointed in this product. I had to extend it and when I do, it leaves 2 big gaps at either side. Causing food to fall through it

The shelf was quite hard to extend. And not very wide.

Ones in static caravan were not in an acceptable state bought to replace them

Instructions would be nice, either with the product or on amazon. Otherwise seems sturdy enough, fits well and was delivered quickly.The photo is how I fitted the clips into mine and it is holding tightly but it will move if I really pull.

Does the job, but very wobberlbut was cheap.
