Epson Ecotank L805 inkjet photo printer

Q: What size paper does it take?

I have the L800 model. It is A4 (width) but will also print any length of paper fed into the printer. So I print book dustjackets that are A4 wide but 40cm long. I presume the L805 does the same.

Q: You mention that is is a good replacement for mainstay printing. Can this printer produce professional results?

My partner, who is the end user, is using it for a business venture of bespoke personalised phone covers. Everyone is impressed with their the picture quality and colour.

Can use cable - harder to get ink though!

Q: What type of ink is used in the l805? pigment or dye? how long could prints be expected to last?

Don’t know ink type check Epson website. Not sure second question, if you mean fading or total prints? If it’s fading then can’t answer. If it’s number of prints check Epson website as I can remember the amounts at different quality rates. Bigger pictures and higher quality I’m sure will reduce the number. It does with every colour printer.
