Lily LoloMineral Concealer - Barely Beige - 5g

CONS- I actually found this concealer gives me slightly dark patches when worn underneath my Blondie foundation. I'm not too sure whether it's the matifying effect playing tricks with the light, whether I'm not applying it very well(I tend to be a bit heavy handed with it because my skin is pretty bad), or whether I need a paler shade.PROS- There are so many good aspects to this concealer! First of all, I was surprised at how well a powder concealer could actually conceal the mini volcanoes that inhabit my face. It goes on nicely, I tend to use a little brush to dab it in. And a little really does go a long way; I use it nearly everyday and I can see it lasting for months.But the main positive to using this in combination with another lily lolo foundation is how much my skin has improved! I find myself applying less and less of this as my skin gradually clears- I've been waiting years to find a product that makes my skin happy!I'm rating 4 stars instead of five because of the issue I'm having with the slightly dark patches, but don't be fooled, this is a product worth buying.

I don't want to give this a bad review because I'm sure there's some people who this is appropriate for, but I found this to be a way too 'white' pale concealer. I have very pale English skin and usually wear the lightest colour of foundation and concealer unless I have a tan. But some foundations seem a bit stage-makeupy since they're so talcum-powder white. It's very matte as well, so I felt a bit ghoulish when I put this on. Maybe if you are truly very pale this would be great though! And like I said it is pretty matte, although there is a bit of a 'glow' to it too.

This is the best concealer i've ever used, bar none. I'm 50 and have lived with very dark circles under my eyes since i was about 18. i've used Lily Lolo products for more than 10 years but now find that the foundation is too matt for me these days and not so flattering. however the older i get the more i appreciate how brilliant this concealer is. it's brilliant because:a. it's great value. a little goes a long way. a pot lasts me more than 6 months and i use it every day. i've paid three times this much for concealers that were nowhere near as good.b. it does not settle into wrinkles. there are so many cream/liquid concealers out there, some claiming to be for older women, but they ALL settle into the fine lines around your eyes and look terrible after about five minutes. this one doesn't - like another reviewer said, once it's on, it stays put. And it's so densely pigmented that a very thin layer is all you need, so it doesn't even look like you're wearing anything.one thing i would advise is that you experiment with moisturisers underneath it. it needs something to adhere to, but if you use a cream that's too heavy it can go on badly and look patchy and cakey. i use a very small dab of la roche-posay toleriane ultra eye contour cream on each eye and it works perfectly

This is great value compared to my usual mineral concealer (which is more expensive and only 2g in size). The shade (Barely beige) is quite a bit lighter than I expected, I have quite a pale skin but would go for a shade darker next time

I love this product, along with lots of others from the Lily Lolo mineral range. Covers well, good for the skin, very economical in use and a great price. I would recommend their range to everyone, particularly if you have sensitive or breakout-prone skin. It doesn't crease and is long lasting once applied. I use a paler shade of this too, depending on the time of year.

Excellent product, I was at first wary of purchase of a product I had not seen, but the reviews made me decide to go for it and I am not disappointed. It is as good as the much more expensive similar products available and I will buy again when this is used, although it does not take much so it might be a while
