Bought this as a supplementary lock with my other Kryptonite U-Lock and Chain
I've been using this Kryptonite Bike U-Lock with Braided Steel Cable for a few months now, and I it's pretty decent. The 12mm hardened steel shackle feels sturdy and reassuring (although it's not even close to Kryptonite New York which is my primary lock), but it's good enough for locking the bike in underground garage at work. The included braided steel cable is a bonus, providing additional protection for wheels and other components (again within a safe environment - I would not dare using just these in an unattended place). All in all this lock is convenient for everyday use for anyone looking to secure their bike with confidence. Recommended.

Feels safe and looks safe
I got this bike lock as the only crime that happens in my town is bike thefting (college town price I guess). Anyway, this product does as it says, it feels of high quality, and it is heavier than it looks. The cable is long enough to go around the front wheel and then get locked with the U-lock while holding the bike's body.Highly recommended.
