First of all, let me say that exclusively buy Ecco shoes and they have all been fantastic. This is the only time I have ever been disappointed. They have fallen into the trap of other shoe manufacturers of producing laces that come undone every few yards, no matter how you fasten them. So stupid and very disappointing and unfathomable as to why this has happened.
