I was having constant dry scalp and my hairdresser recommended this. From previous use I know it smells (and is dark) like tar, so I was EXTREMELY happy to see this with a better scent. It smells amazing and I have trouble keeping my kids out of it! I'd tried several other products with no results. A little pricey but definitely worth it!

This was a gift for my son and it’s a review from him. “I’d have to say this is the best product I’ve used since issues started in 2017 (m23) and the only one that’s worked for me fully. The scent seems universally great and the foaming action covers the scalp easily, it doesn’t condition like a standalone but is gentle all around. And again no symptoms until I use anything else.”

My husband has really dry scalp and I have to roll his clothes every day. He has use it every Wednesday. Still am rolling but I do notice a differences. So we will see if it keeps up.

Product showed delay shipment but never received. Contacted customer service and assumed the product was lost in mail. Customer service was very helpful with prompt response. Will continue ordering from this company. And the product is very good too.

Don't buy any other product. This one really works.

Despite what the label says, this product should actually be called T-Sal... It's made with the same ingredients as T-Sal. T-Gel is made with tar/coal... This is made with salicylic acid. This is no where near as effective as the original formula of T-gel. I don't understand why it has become so expensive and unavailable. I use to get it at Walgreens, they no longer carry it... Started getting from Amazon, now it's way too expensive on Amazon. It's absolutely ridiculous!

This product, being sold under the name T Gel, is not actually what has always been known as T Gel. It is what was called T Sal previously, with a conditioner and perfume added. This is bad news for those of us that needed the coal tar of T Gel to help with our scalp issues, and even worse news for those of us with chemical sensitivities. After one use my eyes and scalp were stinging, and it left my hair feeling stiff and unmanageable. Real T Gel never did this. I immediately went back and paid the absurd price that actual T Gel is selling for now - it is worth it until I can find a good coal tar shampoo that is reasonably priced.
