Faily quiet to operate
I needed a replacement for a similar ceiling light swith where the cord broke in a few places, such that even after finally tying a knot in the cord, it still broke right near the switch. I couldn't replace the cord, such was the poor design. This new one was much quieter, the same size as the previous one, and hence easy to replace once the lighting power off!

It's ok if the chrome doesn't come off when you tighten it up!
So light fitting is Ok, but the chrome part of the ceiling rose come off when screwing up on to the base part. I had to re-glue chrome part to the white part again. All ok but when it was manufactured there was only 2 little spots of glue holding the chrome to the white plastic. Forgot to take picture when it come apart.

Nice. Wish they did this with the built in / on pull cord that’s fancy at the bottom.No one seems to sell with the nice s/s robe chain already attached?But we’ll made.
