What a joke these are.6 cm shorter than the originals meaning the boot opens to the hieght of your forehead and you have to squat under it.Not strong enough to lift the boot lid you must force them to expand . Total waste of money

was hesitant after looking at reviews and the cheap price when honda ones are £100 but knew i could return them so whats the risk? took 10 mins to swap over (youtube vids helped) dont understand the bad reviews as these are the same 465 newtons strength as genuine and exactly the same length. before fitting tried to compress them in hands and wouldnt budge so wondered if i would struggle, but took one side off first and fitted and checked and thought not much better but when both are on they are more powerfull than i remember when car was new, it flies up on its own past halfway and takes a bit of pulling to bring it down. really pleased with these so far

I have contacted Amazon informing them these struts do not work properly on my car. To date, i have had no acknowledgement from either Amazon nor the supplier, therefore will be returning these Tail Gate struts for a refund.

Does what it needs and so easy to fit click and play

Gas struts were identified as appropriate for a honda civic but the barely open the boot, pausing mid way and requiring assistance.Would rather pay the extra and get OEM parts that do what they are supposed to do.

Great for the money , easy to install , fitted mine to mk 9 civic and works perfectly
