This truly works. Good quality isolation transformer
I bought two of these to get rid of a hum coming thru the subwoofers of an 11.2 sound system, It was a really quick and easy install. Attached them to the back of the subwoofers themselves and it removed the humming noise instantly. Quality of sound from subwoofers remained high. Very Pleased

Didn't work for me
I have a narrow use case, and I suspect that's the reason I had problems. The reason I beleive that is that when I connected this to my amp, it seems to be picking up noise from the power supply. Moving the unit around on the amp changes things a bit, but the cable is not long enough to really separate this unit from my amplifier, and this *needs* to be on the amplifier side of the run, as most of the noise sources lie between my mixer and my amp...so putting it on the mixer side would be ineffective at best. That said, the fact that it's susceptible to picking up noise via induction at all means it's exactly what it claims to be, that is, an isolation transformer. So I'm left with "it didn't work for me, but it does do what it says, so it will probably work for you". So, 3 stars it is.

Mixed feelings about this product
It seems this product have the potential to introduce noise into your audio system with some applications.I have a Topping DAC that I wanted to use to test a 600 watt stereo amplifier I purchased to drive two Bose speakers. It was a relatively inexpensive amplifier so I wanted to preemptively eliminate potential noise that I anticipated due to me purchasing relatively inexpensive RCA cables to connect the DAC to the amplifier.Once I received the RCA cables, I connected the male end of the ground loop isolator to the amplifier before connecting the the RCA cables to the stereo output of the DAC and ran it into the female end of the of the ground loop isolator. I was expecting to hear dead silence but was immediately hearing a low buzzing hum. When I disconnected the RCA cable from the ground loop isolator and the speakers went silent again. I thought that it is very possible the cheap Monoprice RCA cables may have been the problem, so I tested by placing RCA cable directly into the amplifier from the DAC. The speakers remained dead silent.I didn't have other RCA cables to test with this product so I tried using a mini AUX to RCA Y cable to plug my phone into amplifier. There was absolutely no noise with and without the ground loop isolator in the mix. The phone likely produces a voltage too low to introduce noise into the amplifier as I had to crank the volume all the way to the max to get decent gains. My DAC was likely the one creating the noise by sending a much higher voltage that may work well with the Monoprice RCA cable but you have to leave the ground loop isolator out of the mix.Unfortunately the this product didn't work to well with the intended application I wanted to use it for, not to mention it didn't appear that needed it anyway as the cheap RCA cables seems to be doing the job. The product is relatively inexpensive so I will hold onto for other potential applications that may come up in the future. At the very least the sound remained clean while using it between my phone and stereo amplifier, so there is hope for it.

This DID eliminate the HUM, but, sometimes it DISTORTS AUDIO!
After locating a couple of mini-phone to RCA cables,I hooked up the "ZIOCOM Ground Loop Noise Isolator" between the audio Line Output of my Mini-PC,and the Line Input of my MACKIE CM5 powered Monitors, which HAD been producing a ground loop hum.The ground hum WAS INSTANTLY ELIMINATED.I was pleased.BUT THEN, I NOTICED THAT, on occasion, IT WOULD DISTORT ON SOME BIG KICK DRUM HITS!I tried reversing the direction in and out of the "ZIOCOM Ground Loop Noise Isolator",but, STILL, THE DISTORTION CONTINUED.I had been quite hopeful, when it took care of the hum, but, the DISTORTION IS A DEAL-BREAKER.IF I can't play music through this device... I removed it.YMMV.

Instantly Fixed Noise
I had a problem with ground loop noise when using my DDJ-FLX6-GT with my desktop. I tried rewiring everything without finding a fix. This instantly cleared up the issue without adding any additional noise or reducing the audio quality in any way.

Works great, easy to install
I recently installed a stereo in my car and had some static noise coming through that got louder when I used the turn signals. I found this and installed it on my amp and it does well to eliminate that. All I hear is my music now, and that annoying static is gone. It was easy to install and was a small price to pay to get rid of what was becoming a big pain in the neck.

Good to have in the audio bag, has all the right stuff to tackle ground loops
I had a long run of RCA cable between 2 amplifies on 2 different power supplies. It was a toss up if it was interface or a ground loop. At the end it turned out to be interference and I had to use a better cable. Still I have used this exact product in the past. If you have a ground loop it will solve it. I took this apart to check the build quality, and knocking a star off as it looks like they did not clean off the flux when the soldered the leads on. These days I'm happy to see it was populated with components and not just a black box.
