Exactly as described and wanted
I used this to anchor heavy duty castors into the legs of a chef's table to make it into a mobile island. They did the job. My only issue was that I only needed 4 so now I have 21 spare!

Ok for low torque
These are fine for most low torque settings. When Iused them in a plywood recess with a good supply of twisting from the threaded side, the prongs collapsed. In other words the prongs are good enough to go into soft wood but may struggle with harder woods. I would not say they are good quality, as per the listing, I would say they are passable for lots of situations. You can always do pilot holes for the prongs but that kind of defeats the object.
