Use this for reading. plenty of light in just the right place.Had it now for more than A year.It is really well made very comfortable and lightweight.This is a great piece of design and high quality manufacturing.Bought two more as gifts.

I bought 3 head lights from different makers selling on Amazon as Christmas presents. The Petzl was the most expensive and on the face of it didn't do anything more than the cheaper ones - the more expensive of which was usb rechargeable and had a hand movement sensor switch, and the cheaper was only about a quarter of the price of the Petzl.However, it was immediately apparent before even opening the packages that the Petzl was in a different league as far as appearance and build quality was concerned. The other two will shine a light but looking at the way they are made I'm not sure for how long - they look and fee as cheap as the price paid.There are plenty of options in the control of the white and red on the Petzl, and it is extremely bright on the max setting.If I was buying 3 again, I would now know to go straight for the Petzl for quality.

This head torch is great! Only issue is that the image on the product page is dark blue and the actual light is more of a turquoise/baby blue type thing. I personally am not fussed but just a heads up!

I bought this for hill walking at night and camping. its a brilliant piece of kit, 3 light levels, a red light that can be set to flashing. it has an adjustable and comfy head band. I love that if you have it set to the lowest light, you can just turn it off when done instead of having to go through the whole light cycle (like you would a cheap bike light). I love how the lamp glows for a time when switched off, and its not too heavy too. I also purchased the lamp case for it to sit in when camping, I would highly recommend this too!this was the cheapest place to buy, mostly priced elsewhere at £30.

Excellent brand, never let's you down. Perfect for ecological night work. Red light is very useful.

Ive used alot of head torches Petzl never fails me. Great for all uses Military and civil. I use this for work and pleasure great all round bit of equipment. This feels great looks great and is extremly bright. I use this for military use, running, walking the dogs and mucking horses out, feels great on the head and never gets uncomfortable can wear for hours.

Awesome headlamp!!!! So worth money. Girly colour just right! Really bright and great for camping in darkest places!lol. Would defo recommend this product. Great delivery too.

I use this most days to walk the dog.While its not cheap, I suspect it will last longer and is more powerful than cheaper models.Its also very comfortable to wear.

Utilisation principale: mes sorties astronomie pour la lampe rouge. J'utilise la blanche pour ranger le matériel en fin de séance.Confortable et efficace et j'apprécie son autonomie apparemment longue (pas encore au bout des piles) ainsi que les différents niveaux de luminosité. L'inclinaison de la lampe par crans est un plus dans mon cas.

Ich besitze momentan 6 Stirnlampen und benutze diese auch häufig in unterschiedlichen Einsatzgebieten. Diese Petzl nehme ich am liebsten, weil:- Sehr gute Qualität, obwohl nicht mehr ganz so knackig wie früher. Made in Malaysia, immerhin steht's auch drauf.- Sehr gute Helligkeit für diese Klasse. War ja bei den älteren Petzl ein Problem.- Band verstellt sich nicht von selbst wie bei der Black Diamond.- Bedienung einfach, im Gegensatz zur Black Diamond und anderen.- Leicht und guter Tragekomfort.- Brenndauer 60-120h, genau so soll es sein.- Keine lästige Tastensperrfunktion, die ja doch nichts bringt, weil sie im Rucksack doch überwunden werden kann, sondern einfach ein ordentlich schwergängiger, aber nicht zu schwergängiger und leicht versenkter Schalter, der sich bei mir noch nie von selbst eingeschaltet hat, bei keiner meiner 4 Petzllampen, die ich zum Teil schon jahrzehntelang habe.- Der Schalter wird im Dunkeln leicht ertastet, im Gegensatz zu anderen Stirnlampen.Insbesondere die einfache Bedienung und gute Qualität vermisst man bei Mammut, Black Diamond (wo der Druckschalter nur noch sporadisch funkioniert) oder natürlich den Nonameprodukten. Zweibrüder macht zwar deutlich hellere Lampen, die sind aber schwerer und teurer, wenn auch preiswert.Einschränkung: Das Band ist für große Köpfe und über eine Mütze vermutlich immer noch zu klein. Den meisten Leuten sollte es aber auch mit Mütze passen.Fazit: Als Allrounder ist diese Lampe momentan mein Favorit, für die meisten Einsatzzwecke ideal und (fast) jedem zu empfehlen.

I purchased this headlamp for outdoor work at night. I wanted a light with a wide even beam. It has a low light level which is useful for plumbing, fixing tractors, etc where I am close to the work. The brighter light is useful for walking through the woods at night. This lamp has five angles so it can be easily positioned to shine on my work or toward my feet. The headband is solid and should adjust to any head diameter. The light is lite enough that it doesn't bounce when I am running. It also has a glow in the dark ring around the light bulb so if you turn it off and set it down you can find it again. I think the band makes it a lot more useful than other lamps because both hands are free.I haven't had this one long enough to know how the batteries last, but with my previous Petzl lamp the battery life was quite impressive. This one is rated to have a longer battery life. I have been quite pleased with the previous light which is why I bought this one. If it is anything like the other it will do fine with rain, dirt, cold weather, being dropped on the ground, and use by children.

キャンプツーリングのメイン照明としての購入です。これまでは専門ショップのスタッフさんに『普通のキャンプ場ならこれで充分』と勧められた国内有名メーカーの25ルーメンのヘッ電を使っていましたが、照明が少なかったり暗かったりするキャンプ場での夜間移動の際の照度に不満を抱えていた事と、ノクティライトとの併用でソロキャンプならメインライトとしても使える照度のヘッ電という事で購入に至りました。デザインや色使いが好みだったのでペツルの製品のみで検討しており、ティキナ・ティカ・タクティカの３種類で迷いに迷いましたが、ティキナには無い赤色ライトと蓄光リフレクター装備、登山に使うわけではないのでタクティカの300ルーメンという高照度は不要、という点でティカを選択しました。届いたばかりで実戦投入はしていませんが現物を手にして益々気に入りました。メーカーホームページ等では触れられていないようですが５段階の角度調整機能も備えており、適度なクリック感でしっかり固定されるので行動中に角度が変わってしまうという事もないでしょう。
