Neverland Beauty 26 Inch 100% Synthetic Hair Hairdressing Equipment Training Head with Clamp for College and Professional Use

This is a 100% synthetic hair training head suitable for cutting or styling. It’s not suitable for someone practising dying or colouring. I also won’t use my heated curling wand on it – I’m unsure of the temperature that reaches but this definitely states not to go over 120 degrees. I think it would melt. So that’s what it’s NOT suitable for – and written purely to help others make their buying decisions.However, as I bought this to show my daughter I have accomplished French and fish tail braids (I’m getting there with the help of Youtube videos - so that she’ll let me loose on her hair) this does not matter to me. The hair is silky soft and comes wrapped around the head so that it arrives with minimum tangles. It has lovely soft skin and the colour hair I wish I had... The hair can be parted in different areas, falls beautifully and is not stitched in rows like on a doll, but appears a lot more like a natural growth (see photo where I’ve tried to show how it is attached in partings). The hair is silky, so it’s quite slippery so I have sprayed it first with a dry shampoo when trying to style it, to give me more control. I have not found that it shed much at all – my daughter’s head sheds much more than this when I brush it!It comes with a clamp so that you can secure it to a table – if the ‘U’ shaped part was a bit wider it would be more stable, but it suffices if you’re not rough. The head part is secured onto a ‘ball joint’ so you can angle it to where you want which is useful. The head is smaller than I expected – I thought it would be life sized, but it’s smaller. (10” high from neck base to top of head; 7.5” from chin to top of head).Overall I’d say this is not one for professionals or hairdressing students who I think would need more natural hair to get a useful training experience. It is really good however for people like me who want to learn different styling techniques and who have impatient daughters who won’t let them practice … for hours and hours...) and want to increase their ‘repertoire’ (as heard on Youtube!), or for young girls who want to teach themselves. It’s like a grown up’s styling doll. Super fun. And my son has said it’d “be good at Halloween too” (oh no it won’t…) Love it!

I feel there could have been more hair on the head but still a good purchase to practice hairstyles on.

Honestly don’t buy this. I’m a hairdresser and I’ve worked with these kinds of products before, this is by far the worst! It gets supper notty no matter what you do with it, the hair itself feel so disgusting and dead, I know it’s supposed to feel synthetic which is fine but this doesn’t feel like other synthetic hair dolls, I don’t know what they’ve done to get it blonde but it’s honestly just not worth the purchase I can barely even braid the damn thing

The headfeatured human like hair, it was very easy to work with and didnt knot too easily (i got the 30% real hair model. It could also be clamped to a desk to make using it simple and easy. On the other hand, it seemed a bit flimsy as the materials were mostly plastic. But overall, the head was very good for anyone wanting practice cutting hair!

My daughter received this yesterday, has been trying to style the hair, and the brush is just bringing out lots of hair, she has a huge ball of it already. Hugely disappointed, I wouldn't recommend this product :(

Good quality, bought for my daughter to do braiding so excellent for this. Arrived earlier than expected. Hair nice and thick, I did think hair would start to come out with constant brushing but it hasn't . Good clamp, does not slip. Would definitely recommend it. There is lots of heads available on here but I cam honestly say this one is great.
