I reviewed a number of similar products and found a similar issue: they all loosen and sometimes fall out. I therefore decided to order the most buttons for the least amount of money. The first one I installed barely lasted a week and was lost. The second one I installed I now check every time I take my Fuji X100F out of my camera bag and after every few shutter pressings. It has so far lasted much longer than the first and has not loosened or fallen out.

I was expecting to find drawbacks upon receiving and inspecting the buttons. I read old reviews of people describing some of the buttons coming in with paint chips and loose fitments. I am glad to report that all four buttons I ordered came neatly packed in a box, each of the four was separately packed in an individual bag within the box. No damage to the buttons. The provided rubber O rings are a nice touch, as the previous buttons I have ordered did not come with those.I ordered the kit of 4 (Black, Bright Red, Dark Red, Orange) and they all arrived true to color description online. The paint is glossy and pleasant to the touch. Edges are clean and neat, without any sort of sharp edges. I would recommend this VKO kit based on my experiences with it.

Its not technically a soft shutter release. Soft shutters releases screw in and a button press moves a center pin which triggers the much softer cable release. This is more a button that screws in and makes the normal shutter button larger and easier to find, but does nothing for reducing pressure and reducing shake. That said they are well made and well painted and it helped with my Rollei 35 zone focus camera and Corona P rangefinder which both were designed with inconvenient shutters recessed into housings.

The colorful shutter release buttons add a nice accent to a beautiful Fuji X-T2. They allow easy and comfortable access to the shutter release, making photography easier in general. The metal construction is solid and once screwed in, stay solidly in place, unlike several plastic ones I have tried prior. I plan on using these shutter release buttons on my X-T20 as well. I really like them and would recommend them to any fuji X user.

They work well, and even though it's just a tiny detail, it does make quite a difference in the camera's ergonomics ! I was surprised at how such a cheap item could make such a welcome change on how I handle my already beloved Fuji X-T20. Definitely happy with it.(Although the only color that fits well my silver Fuji X-T20 is the silver one).Only problem is that it has a tendency of unscrewing itself fairly easily and fall off, and that, despites the rubber.I've already lost it 3 times in outdoor shootings (each time I could retrieve it again, fortunately, as I usually realize fairly quickly that I've lost it, but still). I'm wondering if there is any way of keeping it tightly screwed so that it stops falling off.Now I 'm much more cautious, but it's mentally tiring to have to be constantly on the lookout when you're already busy enough with a whole shooting.Other than that, it's great. I love using it. Just a bit of "so close, yet so far" vibe, that prevents me to give it a perfect score.

Comes with 4 colors, including two nice shades of red. I went with the "Fuji" red, the lighter of the bunch for now. It has two o-rings per button, and that helps secure for the finger movements that inevitably try to unscrew them. Haven't lost one yet! Nice quality and neat finish. Perfect fit in the threads of the shutter button.

Well, they're cute! Tried the red button, and it screwed into the shutter release button on my Canon AE-1 Program easily. Tightened it with my fingernails and it feels like it will hold. I "like" it/them, but I think they deserved five stars for the price and selection of colors.

Tried to destroy one , definitely made of metal but will break , they feel good (concave) version is what I tested, feels good under the finger and o rings help on the Fuji line to keep them tight. Would buy again .

I have gone through quite a few shutter buttons of late, they unscrew and fall off the camera. These use a small rubber o-ring to "lock" them to the shutter button and the first one fitted is still in place I am pleased to say.

Fit well and stay in place!

X-T2に赤いのをつけたらなんともクラシカルで可愛いです。付属のパッキンのようなものをボタン側につけて、本体に装着しました。ボタンが凹んでいるのでシャッターも押しやすくなりました。色んな色がセットになっているのでコスパ良いです。たまに付け替えて楽しもうと思います。

富士フィルム　X-E2ブラックに使ってます。カメラがコンパクトなので凹型より凸型の方がシャッターボタンが押しやすいような気がしてこの製品を買いました。レンジファインダー風のカメラですがEVFファインダーが付いてますので、シャッターボタンに赤を付けると目立って、味方によってはライカ風になります。かっこいいです。
