For the price this drone is a great value. In GPS mode it's solid at holding its position in light winds. The controls are smooth with slight inputs from the pilot. It's just fun to fly.It comes nicely packaged and the documentation is adequate for someone that already has some drone experience but may not be entirely clear for a first time pilot. Included is spare rotor blades and a phillips screwdriver. Like most drone manufacturers/resellers the advertised flight time on a fresh battery is exagerated. 14 -15 minutes per battery is what you can expect with moderate maneuvering in a light breeze. If you are flying in a light breeze you'll want to set the drone at high speed.The image quality from the camera is pretty good for this price range. The camera angle adjustment using the remote is smooth. If you desire super high quality video you'll have to shell out considerably more money for a drone with gimbles to steady the video. I have other drones and I didn't buy this one for image quality. I just wanted to fly it for fun.If you are a beginner I'd highly advise NOT flying in non-GPS mode. The drone lacks any manual trim controls and you'll have to stay on the sticks to keep control. In GPS mode it picks up enough sattelites to fly quicker than some other small drones I own. I suspect some reviewers that reported runaways weren't flying in GPS mode. Other reviewers have reported problems with a motor or 2 not spinning up on startup. I experienced this and found just bumping the problem motor gently got it going. After a couple of flights that problem went away in my case.I didn't know what to expect at this price point but was pleasntly surprised. This little drone is a fun flyer!

Not a bad drone for $120 BUT I just upgraded to a $340 DJI mini 2 and it’s night and day difference. The technology for the name brand $340 drone is 10x better and 10x more reliable, worth it in my opinion. I’ve learned the technology matters BIG TIME in drones and you NEED IT to return home. The TRSC does have trouble staying in one place with no controller input, it wanders around most of the time with zero wind inside, and it jerks around in 2 mph wind. Just stay 20ft away from anything and you’ll be fine. Range is also why I returned it, it can only make it about 2 houses away while the $340 DJI goes 2.5 miles. Last time I used the TRSC it just randomly lost all movement from controller other than up and down and that was the last straw. The GPS return home function works, but sometimes it will land in the correct spot, sometimes it will land randomly 15ft away. One of the motors also seemed to have a tight spot which started making a tapping sound after just 2 flights. Camera is there, but without a gimbal camera, it’s a very shaky and low quality video. --You aren’t using this drone for any real estate photography! — Build quality is also what you’d expect at $120. But overall it is worth the price and great for a starter drone for beginner adults or kids that you’ll eventually replace for something better if you want it for any other purpose than to just look at it fly around your yard.

It was fun, it was neat, it was super short lived. This does work, if all variables are 100% controlled including the service area. It was very shaking and quick on the throttle even in beginner mode and I am a skilled pilot of helicopters. This is the cheapest feeling piece of equipment. The auto return feature is the doom. As soon as the battery start chirping it automatically tries to go to home (wherever you originally set it up at btw).so I’m my case we have a lot of big oak trees and I was flying on my maiden shakes voyage and it started beeping and zoom straight up into the trees.After replacing all the props it proceeded to never be able to hold its gyro even and flys circles, all the way in fact to another tree. This is where I found out it’s almost impossible to check out the motors for fixing.If you can’t afford a decent drone I wouldn’t buy this. Unless you are fully prepared to just throw your money in the trash.

I am so impressed with this drone. I have a brother and some family members that are big into them and have spent thousands. I've heard about different flying capabilities, stabilization, weight, durability, and camera qualities on those with cameras.I wanted to gift one to my boyfriend who has never owned or flown one. I thought I'd start with one in the lower price range in case he wasn't into it or it broke due to his inexperience flying. But I wanted one that would be worth using. I am blown away by how good this one is. Frankly, it seems better than most of the more expensive ones I've seen other people fly.It's easy to control, has a lot of maneuverability, is durable, is a decent size, and the camera is the best I've seen on a drone. Amazingly clear picture when really high in the air.My boyfriend was able to fly it easily, immediately set it up to take pictures, and he and his son had fun flying it around. His son requested one after their first flight.I'd say this is 100% the one to go with for a beginner and probably for people with experience too. I don't know all of the possibilities these have now, but this one seems to cover all the basics for a really good price. I will definitely consider buying more as gifts. I've spent this much on other drones as gifts for people and they weren't nearly as high a quality, so this one is a score. (This sounds like I gift these left right and center but with a huge family it's really such a good gift when you're out of other ideas for someone because everyone (all ages) has fun with them and wants to use them right away.)
