This is the second of these belts I have purchased. I bought this one in this size because the first one I bought (and it is entirely my own fault) is a little too big. I ordered the wrong size. So I had to make additional holes in the belt for the buckle pin, as the supplied holes were too far away. Well, usually what happens when you make your own hole is that the hole weakens the belt and it falls apart. Sure enough, where I made the hole I use to tighten it looked like it was going to do this. But it has not. It is still very strong. These are good belts and good value. I will eventually have to use belt number two if/when belt number one fails but that looks to be a way off. Highly recommend this belt.

Yes it's only £8 but after a few months the man made outer surface all rips around the holes. This doesn't make it look nice if your belt is visible. The inside actual real leather part is still ok though so I still wear it when shirts or tops are on the outside of my trousers covering it up. Will buy a full leather one next to replace it.

This belt looks great when new. It has a shiny metal buckle and has the appearance of a leather belt.It was supplied in a polythene bag and so that may be a consideration if you were giving it as a present.There has been a lot of negative discussion about the quality of this belt by many reviewers. But you get what you pay for, and if you are looking for a high end real leather belt then this is definitely not for you."Real leather" in the context of this belt means a blended leather or PU leather, not 100% unadulterated leather. It is made from leather that has been reconstituted.But it looks fine, at a glance, and I'm happy with it as it suited my budget. I don't expect it to last though

We were in the market for a couple of belts for my Dad, he is 38" waist. So took a punt...This is the Forest Belt Co Plain Leather Belt in brown (also available in black), sizes range from S 28-31 to XXL 40 to 44 and 3XL or 4XL available too. They are not that wide, coming in at just over 3cm.These belts look lovely, the buckles are great, the leather is not that fat and looks like man made and leather mix, not 100% leather.I would also go a size up, as 36-40 is more like 34-38, you will have enough holes to go tight.Overall I'd recommend if you go a size up! Just hope Dad doesn't eat too much turkey!

First impressions are good and the belt appears handsome and well made. My only reservation is that this belt is stated as being lined and all previous belts I have owned that were lined have developed unsightly splits across the buckle holes after only a few months wear. This fault does not occur on my other unlined solid leather belts .A triumph of hope over experience perhaps ?.

This is the worst belt I have ever bought. After 4 weeks of wearing it daily to work it has almost fallen apart. You can see from the photo the poor quality of the belt. I would not recommend purchasing this item as it is a waste of money. Even when you buy a cheaper belt you would expect it to last longer than 4 weeks of wearing it. I have attempted to ask for a refund but was told as I have had it 4 weeks I couldnt have one. Avoid this item at all costs

I am trying to lose weight so some of my trousers are a little loose. Bought the larger that is meant to fit up to 38" but are actually smaller than my 36" trousers. It is a good quality product but if you are buying I would recommend getting the next size up. I am keeping this so when I lose a couple of inches I have a belt already. Or as my girlfriend calls it - a goal belt.

It is a belt and it holds up my trousers. Is does this quite well, so I have given it 4/5. I have only been using it for one day so i do not yet have enough information to give it 5/5. If you had waited five years and asked me then, yes, if it had performed well over that period i would have given it 5.
