I researched knives for a while wanting to get a solid knife, damascus steel, and spring assisted. I am so satisfied with this purchase. Very strong, very sharp, and beautifully made.

I purchased this on a whim and I am impressed with this knife for the most part. It's beautiful, came quite sharp and overall *kinda* gives you what you paid for - maybe I expect more quality control these days.It came with really good presentation. It's a nice box, a faux-leather sheath and a lanyard w/ skull bead came with it.The blade is nice & sharp, but it's also thin behind the edge so it's really "slicey." It's beautifully polished, the pattern is gorgeous and all of the grinds are symmetrical.I really like the bolsters on this knife. They're coupled to some moderately thick mirror polished liners and really thick scales. The scales are beautiful, however mind have some deep scratches on the clip side. Mine also has some voids, but they're not large enough to compromise the integrity. The pocket clip is a terrible afterthought. You should expect to carry this in it's sheath. Mine is incredibly difficult to get out of my pocket due to the tension. I'll be bending it but that shouldn't be necessary.The action is good. It's obviously on bearings and rolls as such, with a kind of squishy click when it locks up. The detent is perfect though. It locks solidly too. The liner's serrations on the unlocking surface stick slightly below the bolster so that should be a consideration when holding it.It's pretty and decently crafted, and I wish I would be compelled to carry it but honestly, it's heavy, awkward and I don't want to wear the sheath. The scratches on the scale is really off-putting. It's a 3.5 star knife in total. I don't consider myself a "snob" but it kind of lags behind what $100 should give you these days in the knife world.

I bought this to replace my old carry knife, a S&W 'Boarder Guard' with a stainless 5Cr15MoV blade. I wanted something that could go to the next level of sharpness. I don't know what types of steel are used in the laminations of this Alvely blade, but the VG10 core is capable of holding an edge that can dry shave the hairs off of you arm. The fit and finish is excellent. The grip is smooth, but I haven't had a problem with it shifting in my hand. My hands are slightly larger than average, and I find the grip a little too small. The fore-finger pull tab takes a bit of a tug to get the blade started when opening the knife - I think I prefer the stud style for opening. All these are minor drawbacks. I like the pocket clip, for quick access. It's an attractive knife that feels nice in your hand. It gets very sharp. 5 stars.

I love the damascus blade and handle is verycomfortable to hold. I highly highly recommend this folder to every folding knife LOVER out there!! You ll love it!!!

the flipper action is too stiff and hard to open. I wish it had a thumb stud.

I hate stock photos and receiving something that looks completely different however this piece is very very close to photos and not some weirdly heavy piece. I am very happy with the quality, weight , And honestly out of all the blades I've ever ordered over the years from diff. Places this one I did not need to fix or sharpen. Honestly empressed! Thank you!
