My only problem is with Amazon for not letting me give this product more than 5 stars. I use to buy a deep blue product that was similar to this and that will never be the case from this point on.

I used it for neck pain while my husband used it on his sore feet. It worked!!! Fast relief and easily absorbed cream. Will absolutely buy more.

This didn't really do that much for my pain other than make me feel cold. I get the way it's supposed to function but it just didn't really help me and the aches I was dealing with weren't even that bad. It could be useful for other people though maybe.

Superb product.

This muscle recovery cream is GREAT.My body goes through a lot– grueling bodybuilding-style workouts in the gym early in the morning and a mostly physical job (Amazon fulfillment… haha) in the afternoon. At the end of the day I feel like I got hit by a bus, and then trampled over by mammoths.After workouts and after intense work this is my go-to for relief. It fully provides that within the hour. I apply it about twice a day and I feel recovered the next day.Needless to say, this cream has been life-changing by significantly helping with the much- needed muscle recovery I need on a day-to-day

I'm no athlete, but as I have achy joints I was willing to give this a try.Previously I had tried a gel/goo that also had menthol as an ingredient. That particular ointment reeked of moth balls. I reeked of moth balls. Plus, it wasn't very effective on my chronic pain. My dissatisfaction with that gel led me to try this one.I was still a bit concerned that this cream might also smell like moth balls with its menthol though. It does NOT! It does have a fairly light fragrance of 'Eau de BenGay' - if that doesn't spark an olfactory memory for you, think of wintergreen as that's what this smells like. As I'm quite picky about scent I was very pleased that this was a gentle fragrance & it didn't linger long after being applied.Of course, the efficacy on pain relief is what matters most. I'm pleased to say that this very quickly addressed my sore elbow joint. My condition isn't something that will ever get better, but as a topical remedy I am so very happy to have found this.As a bonus, my order of the 8 oz. cream also came with a complimentary, 3.5 oz. travel size bottle included. (This isn't mentioned in the item description now, so don't order expecting the extra inclusion.)I should have known that this cream is top notch. A company that proudly & boldly displays its products' ingredients really does believe in what it's offering for sale.

This is a great product to have on hand if you are prone to achy muscles and joints. The lotion applies easily to the affected areas and begins to cool and tingle within a minute or two after application. It spreads out nicely on your skin, but doesn't absorb very quickly, so it feels a bit greasy for a while. Once the tingle starts, it does a nice job at keeping your nerves busy near the painful areas so you don't feel or forget about the pain for few hours. It has a very zingy menthol scent, so you will know when you apply this lotion. If you have somewhere important to be and don't want to smell like vapo-rub, then you want to keep this to home use. As with all products of this type, you want to wash your hands after an application, or you will find out how painful it can be to inadvertently touch your eyes, mouth, nose, or nether regions. This is a great, less invasive, pain management product that works as advertised.

I was so surprised by my first few experiences with this lotion that I refused to review it-- believing that something else (diet, pain pills etc) must be relieving my joint and muscle pain. However, I am now sure that this lotion is what I have been looking for. For some context, I use the product before work-outs to help warm up, and I also use it at night time to help with my spinal stenosis. I love the cooling effect. I normally have to use 12% menthol or above to get a nice icy hot effect. However, this 8% is working great. Unlike some icy hot formulas, this lotion also includes anti-inflammatory ingredients (fir oil, for example). So it isnt simply masking the pain, it is treating it to some extent. Some of my better oils, gels and lotions cost 3-5 dollars per ounce, so I think the value here is terrific at only $1 per ounce including the two bottles that you get with every order.
