Bosch 2608180009 Drill Stand DP 500

Excellent product, very solid & stable, and yet flexible to tune & operate. A Centralization notched latch is missing. A little overprice (compared to the other far east competition), but yet worth every penny.[ Fits standard 43mm hand-drill chuck neck ]

Having tried a few drill stands, I settled on this very solid Bosch model. The mechanism has no wobble or play, unlike the cheaper models I'd tried, my only complaint being the price (it's in the same price range as a standalone bench drill).

Not presently available in the US, this drill stand is rock solid, fits my Bosch drills perfectly, and is small enough to easily store. I leave my 2nd drill semi-permanently is this stand for quick use. Very well made in Germany.

Nice and solid / steady unit. Comes semi pre-assembled so not many bits to add before use (just the clamp screws as seen on the image.

I got this item three weeks ago.The Drill stop rod doesn't fit into stand hole. It was bigger I guess by 1 mm in diamter. Though I maybe able to find a rod that fits into the hole, this quality flaw should had been spotted before it entered into the delivery box considering the item price.

This appears to be a Maxion MBS165 . The Bosch version has Bristol Locking Handles but is another £42 . However you can buy 3 Alloy Bristol locking handles for less than a Tenner £10 to Upgrade the Metabo and and save £32

Very good drill stand which has a good range of adjustments and a good lever-arm feed. Very useful in lieu of a proper pillar drill.

this is a good well made stand, sturdy and accurate to use, although rather expensive, very useful and feel safer using it.
