BALLOPAcupressure Slippers Arch Support Sandals for Diet, Foot Massage

Sturdy - and this is not just slight bumpy acupressure
I've had them a week now. I’m having to use with socks most of the time. Standing by the bed at night for 5 minutes or so, I can do without the socks, but walking in the house takes a little more padding at this point. The sandals stir the circulation and are hitting a lot of points I need massaged. Too soon to tell yet if they are doing what I need done as far as organs and arches while the reflexology points are getting stimulated. I do notice if I don’t use them a bit every day that it is almost like starting over again. The size turned out just right and they are surprisingly not hard to keep on when walking. They will rock with my feet as I walk. Used to walk on stony beaches in cold waters without pain. Lately if I step on a crumb in the kitchen it hurts, so, hoping these will do some good all around as I use them more. I like these better than a foot reflexology massage. I can control the amount of time, the pressure, etc., and no fighting with the therapist to lighten up.

May have to return these back
I was hoping these would work, but not sure. Still giving them, another try.

Massaging slippers - gives relief to your foot pain
This is a review of “BALLOP Foot Reflexology Sandals, Massage Slippers for Plantar Fasciitis Pain Relief Wellness Gift for Dad”[As a vine reviewer, I am pledging not to be compensated or influenced by the vendor; I state my opinions based on my personal experience without any bias or pressure.I am not a doctor and the review comments below have to be viewed against this backdrop ]First, as soon as the package arrives, you will get confused : it is almost all in Chinese and features teapots and tea chests. It is only a small sticker that shows that there is a pair of slippers inside. But it is only when you open the package, you discover the secret: this is a well-made pair of slippers! It is clearly packed and the pressure points are appropriately accentuated . The floor is spiky and it will seem like it is pricking you (or poking you).We ordered size 10 and the spikes do prick mildly but if it bothers you, you can wear socks to go with it , whether you are an Englishman or not (English people on this review, please excuse me).The slippers are otherwise comfortable and can fit well by uadjusting the top flap. The Velcro appears strong and the heel is sufficiently thick thanks to some cushioning.Let me make one thing clear: this is not a regular pair of slippers and is therapeutic in nature . Because it is meant to give you relief from foot pain, it has need accupressure points (fortunately not too sharp) foot surface . So, keep it for use within the house. This is not the pair you take on your first mountain trail. Next, the price is actually quite reasonable.Despite being a well-made pair, there are some more annoyances that come mostly because of language barriers. I think. This description says it is for “dad” but the model shown is female. I think these slippers are unisex. Another crazy problem is that the sizes max out at size 10 (US). Many people in the US have feet size much greater than that. This pair works if you have foot pain due to a variety of reasons, the main one coming from plantar fasciitis.Based on my experience with this pair and having walked with it for a few days , I am comfortable giving this the 4 *s.

Painful, Even with Thick Socks
You know that meme that shows walking on a bed of Lego pieces instead of hot coals? These slippers would be good practice for that. They are painful, even with thick woolen socks on. I gave up after five minutes or so.I usually wear an 8.5 wide in women's shoes. The 8.5 fit me well, and the adjustable strap accommodated my wide duck feet just fine.I prefer a massage, though, instead of pain. I will stick to using my wooden foot roller massager when I want relief.

Oh my......
I was really looking forward to getting these slippers to wear around the house. I knew that they had pressure points on them to massage your foot but what I didn't realize is how hard/stiff those pressure points would be. As I'm sure most parents are familiar with, putting on this sandal is like stepping on a thousand loose lego pieces. The points are sharp and somewhat irritating. I had to wear a pair of socks in order to get some sort of relief from the points. I wore them while working around the house for about an hour. By the time I was ready to take them off, it really wasn't hurting too much. As long as I kept moving, my feet were OK. Once I sat down for a few minutes & then got back up to walk, I definitely had to break myself in again. For me, these will be good for short term wear. I couldn't see myself wearing th em all day. I wish the spikes were a little softer or not so sharp. I feel like you'd get the same benefit.

Very well made, but very stiff
Bear in mind these are not shoes one would wear all day every day, but for short periods of time to stimulate bodily functions by stimulating the pressure points in the feet. These are very uncomfortable, but they are not designed for comfort. I find I can get used to these for short periods. My big issue with them is they are so very stiff that I find it hard to walk around in them, I'd like the sole to flex more for a more natural walking experience, not a flat-footed awkward gait. These feel more like a ridged foot boot for a broken foot than a pressure point massaging foot bed.

Great for those that know what to expect
I knew exactly what I was getting into when I got these slippers. I have actually had ones with stones on the bottom, as well as ones with much sharper bottoms. They do their job, and eve for someone that is used to this, it will take a bit of time to adjust - as no slippers like this are made alike (usually each company has their own design). As for the size, I would say that they run a little bit large - not enough to make a difference, but something to consider (if you are an 11 and it is OOS, then 10.5 might fit you snugly).Overall, I can recommend them. As long as they last long-them, and that is something that I will update in the coming months - and if I do not, that means they have been holding together.
