Didn't work for my longhaired Aussie
The plastic contact points were a selling point for me because my dog has allergies, but they were ineffective because of her long hair. She did respond to just the vibration, but the shocking only seemed to work part of the time. The remote's display is always on but that doesn't seem to affect the battery life. I charged it nightly for the few days we tried it and the battery lasted all day. The remote itself is nice because of the carabiner clip, but it feels cheap and I fully expected the clip to break. It also doesn't open very far, so it can be a little tricky to remove from things. I did find it handy to clip on a belt buckle and the large button is easy to find without looking.
