We have a rescue hedgehog who was a very fat boy when we got him. We tried every food we could find in store for him but all he wanted was cat food and a lot of it. Finally we tried this and he LOVES IT! And we were able to slowly lower his portions to a healthy size for him without him banging his food bowls together for more in the middle of the night because of all the healthy bugs! He tends to fill up on the insects when he first wakes up and then later will eat the kibble. It also has a lot of good vitamins for hedgehogs and I love that there’s not just a ton of filler that a lot of hedgehog foods have. It tides him over, he doesn’t require vitamin supplementation with this and is able to now be a healthy weight! Def will be his food for the remainder of his life!

This was the best food for my hedgehog!I used a different brand and about a month later I was taking my hedgehog to the vet.The food I ordered said it was “complete” nutrition. I noticed my hedgehog was loosing weight but assumed it was the exercise on the wheel. A few weeks later he was dragging his back legs and could barely stand up. I noticed the food my husband ordered and it didn’t look like the stuff I normally ordered. I ordered this brand because it would arrive quickly and had great reviews. 3 days after eating this food he regained his strength. It’s been 3 months and reordering it. My little guy is doing great! This food got his weight back on daily quickly and had maintained his energy level and he is super happy.

I was feeding my hedgehog cat food cause that’s what everyone tells you to buy cause high protein.His poo smelled SOOOOOOOO bad. I was hesitant to try a new food cause hedgehogs are usually very picky and don’t do diet changes well. He ate it the second I poured it in the bowl. He loves it. And now I went from cleaning his cage every other day to the stink, to cleaning it every week and a half. Highly recommend. He loves the bugs in it too.

Hedghog is always excited to get its food. It's small enough for its little mouth. And the meal worms was a great treat with it. I'm happy. Its happy. I'm more than satisfied.

My hedgehog (Conway Twitty) absolutely loves this food. He definitely goes for the mealworms first, but rarely does he leave a single kibble in his bowl.

My hedgehog isn't too much of a picky eater but I was getting tired of buying a bag of the popular hedgehog food and getting 50% of it as powder. I love that this food has mealworms in it and so does my hedgie as he especially eats these pieces when going for his bowl (even so much that he'll sometimes come out during the day just to eat the mealworms). I recommend this brand and will keep purchasing it.
