I bought this but am now having to send it back. The bristle layer is considerbaly thinner than the original which I now need to replace -to the point that it is not worth having when you expect the highest standards and demand the best. The item looks subtly different to the image shown and worse, different also to the image on the box it came in. The image shows the original tool with 4 position settings. The actual product only has two. This is a minor point but indicates that the delivered physical product delivered IS indeed different and hence may be why the ring of bristles is thinner. If the images were not misleading, I could have used this fact to hunt down the original tool. But I cannot do that. They are displaying the original and selling something different! I am sure this is illegal! I am sure it will work fine but I am not satisfied it will be as good as the original tool with double the thickness of bristles. I would shop elsewhere for this product. I have contacted [email protected] to query the discrepancy. I hope to update this review when I have some clarity.OK: I can now confirm this product is identical to the one I purchased from Miele. However, it remains subtly different to the image shown, hence my frustration! It appears there has been a design change.I have therefore moved my rating from 1 star to 3 stars. It is an original but diferent to the item shown in the pic (which has 4 position settings, redesigned tool only has 2 and a thinner layer of bristles).

The original brush seems to have got floppy so we were looking for repalcements and this really did the trick. Compact but sturdy and great value for money!

The original one that came with the vacuum lasted about 15 years but then started to always twist round so made it difficult to use. This replacement one is ok but not a good as the original as it has a much thinner brush

Good value for money, and brilliant suction easy to use.

Does the job fine. Just a bit expensive for what it actually consists of.

What else would one expect from Miele but superb quality. What I particularly like is this everything us well thought out and designed with function in mind and the build quality is as good if not better than the design. Buy quality it makes sense.
