Lamp not wired right
Bought this right hand tail light and when used you can barely see light work.Then check the whole truck for a short because brake light wouldn’t work come to find out the tail lamp is manufactured wrong so I installed factory ones that cost me $200.00 more and the head ache.So I don’t recommend these

Malfunction
I ordered these for my dads trucks and we just realized they have not been working and it’s past the return window. I would be interested in an exchange if it was just this particular set or all of them are not made properly. We replaced the lights because his originals were cracked but now the running lights do not work. Only the brake lights. He’s been pulled over multiple times and we assumed it was a wiring issue but now we have discovered it’s the light housing.

You know why these are so cheap? Because they are junk. I had a broken tail light lenses so I bought these. Welp a 275$ mechanic bill later I find out that the connections were bad inside the drivers side lights. The drivers light also feeds the passenger side light. He did me the favor of purchasing decent tail light and charging me the labor plus the new lights to troubleshoot my dumb Amazon purchase. Just buy decent lights to begin with!! These are not them!

Perfect fit on 2009 Tacoma CrewCab 4Dr
Inspected to make sure I recived a RH and Left LH assys. Both came pestine and well packed. I have only installed the passengers side to see if there was an issue with the main LED lighting not being as bright as the OEM that was mentioned from other vendor reviews. They looked identical! Everything works. Didn't have to wait for a flash sale/discount from other vendors to get a good price. Very satisfied with this purchase.

Does not fit truck
The tail light fixture looks exactly line the original on my 2003 Toyota Tacoma pickup. However the unit does not fit exactly into the connecting screw holes where the fixture attaches to the truck. I solved the problem by taking off the lens from the new unit and reusing the original base. The lens fits perfect on the old unit and then the old unit slips into the correction position on the truck.
