Baby's Very First Big Play Book (Baby's Very First Books): 1

Excellent book, very bright and colourful pages with loads for my baby to look at. It has the added bonus of peek-a-boo flaps that my baby loves and sound effects. My baby loves looking through the book, we usually have to look through it 3 or 4 times cos once isn't enough. Definitely going to get more of these books.

A very nice, big book with interesting discoveries on each page. Very colourful and bright. The reason I gave four stars is that the sounds are a bit too short and quiet - my baby just starts moving along with the sounds when they stop! At 11 months she is still too young, I guess, to lift the flaps and discover what's hidden behind, but she is definitely amused by the pictures and colours and also the textures (she particularly loves the fluffy owl on the last page!). And she keeps pressing the sound buttons which seem to entertain her quite a bit.

I bought his for my grandson' 1st birthday he enjoys looking at it and it keeps him amused for ages!

I've bought two from Amazon now, and both have stopped working after a week. My baby absolutely loves the sounds so I just wish it would work! I don't want to keep sending them back, I just want a working one.

Amazing Book for a young baby babies just sitting up to older toddler about 5-6.My 6month old and 3 year old love it. They touch all the cut outs love the flaps to see what's hiding behind them, the music is delightful and engaging.It is beautifully illustrated and so worth the money, very sturdy to survive a toddler and baby independently playing with this book, as far as being semi ruff with the pages and flaps, but discourage baby from trying to eat it I don't think it will handle moisture well; however Book is heavy enough I don't think they will try to pick it up to eat it.Story is cute rhyming, placed in different settings and the flaps either change the scene or are peekaboo, great to ask who's hiding where for older children!A must have in any home that lives interactive engaging books.
