Cam lock pole
Haven't tried this, It is for my daughter for Christmas. This is a cam lock product. The blue dots in the photo are not push button catches. Appears to be of qood quality. The GoPro one apparently is of low quality from what I read in the reviews. I was looking for one that had ribbed sections. The problem is that when the weight of the camera works against the extended sections of a smooth metal pole they become loose with use; and, the camera's weight rotates it downward. Using ribbed metal tubing instead of smooth tubing would alleviate this problem, but I couldn't find one made that way. I am hoping the cam locking method will hold.
