NEW SlimPort USB-C to HDMI adapter for LG V20, Acer Chromebook R13, LG G5, HTC 10, HP Elite x3 [SP7101]

+ the product works, displays a good picture and the sound doesnt lag unlike other adapters that I've read about.- It didnt work with all hdmi cables i had. I was on the verge of returning it as the first two hdmi cables failed. Luckily the Bush cable worked, and I have no idea how to determine which cable will work with it or not.- You cant charge your phone ( i was using the lg g5) and use the adapter at the same time- I lost signal once when trying to watch a video i had on my phone. I disconnected and reconnected my phone and the picture came back.I used the adapter for roughly an hour on a panasonic viera. In that hour, the phone battery level didnt seem to go down faster than normal when using the adapter.Note. I couldnt use the LG Hi-Fi Plus G5 Module with the adapter so i had to use the phone's original module.I couldnt test the adapter's 4K capability as i dont have a 4k tv

A great && highly recommended piece of equipment;Initially bought it for our LG G6, but we've learned a bit too late that LG removed the DisplayPort Alt Mode in that model;Fortunately for us, the adapter is compatible w/ :- Samsung Galaxy S8;- Samsung Galaxy S8+;&& works great;The only drawback, hence - the loss of 1 star, is the lack of the Power Delivery port,which means you can't use the device && charge the phone @ the same time;One should not have such problem when using a compatible PC, though;

Purchased this for my LG V20 and pleased that it works well. It doesn't charge the phone, however it serves its purpose well, if a little on the pricey side. Now if only they made one for the Lenovo P2..Update 14/08/17: Having now used it for about a month, I've noticed that it would sometimes lose the picture on the screen (black screen) for a second or two which can prove a little annoying when it happens in the middle of watching a programme. Nevertheless still a good product!

This is a good quality device and worked perfectly with my LG V20. I downloaded a number of Netflix and Amazon TV programmes to my phone and watched them on holiday using the HDMI input on the hotel TV. Both video quality and audio quality are very good. One point to make sure of if you are doing this - make sure that the video quality settings for downloads are set to max within Amazon and Netflix. Otherwise what may look acceptable on a 5" phone screen can look rather poor on a 40" TV screen.

Slimport arrived the next day and looked to be of good quality.Unfortunately it didn't work with my LG G5Got a full refund with no problems.

So far, I can only give this one star. It arrived on time. However, I have not been able to get it to work with any phone or HDMI cable I have tried. However, I'll reserve judgment -- after I get back from a 10-day skiing holiday in the Alps, I will investigate more thoroughly whether the problem lies with the cables, the phones or the SlimPort adapter.

Does what it says it will do. Audio & Visual feed to good. Using it with a LG G5 smartphone.Build quality seems of a high standard.
