Persona 4 Arena: Ultimax (PS3)

I could not recommend this game enough, as both a massive Persona fan and someone who's put almost 200 hours into Arena, this game is incredible.The new characters are fun and exciting to use, the new mechanics (such as shadow frenzy in particular) change up the pace from waiting to punish your opponent to punish your opponent now with 4 CONSECUTIVE supers.The characters have been rebalanced, meaning that Mitsuru will still perfect you if you're not paying attention, but at least you stand a fighting chance now.

A friend brought this round one evening wanting to play with me and a friend as he is a fan of persona. I absolutely loved it and he was happy to have someone to play who equally enjoys it. Very smart interesting technical and unique fighter. Absolutely flawless

The game begins a day after the conclusion of Persona 4 Arena, in the fictional rural Japanese town of Inaba. Unlike in the prequel that focused on the TV World, the game's events occur in the real world. However, due to the enemies' interference, Inaba is shrouded by red fog and turns into a labyrinth that mixes with the places of Persona 3 such as Moonlight Bridge, Club Escapade, and Tartarus.

Would definitely recommend this one if you are a 2D fighting fan or love arcade ports & is the perfect upgrade to last years smash hit persona 4 it will keep you going through Christmas & the new year games break if nothing else Excellent game buy & try it nothing else

THis is the second game there is a first just giving that a heads up so people dont make my mistake thats not why i marked it down.3 stars due to the shoddy as lip sync i mean seriously the lips are going at 100 miles per hour as they talk i mean god damn lol it feels like a quick slap in the voices and pray to god know one notices. It does get a bit better as we go threw so i dunno if the guy that fixes the lip sync was sick at that part of production or if it was them just being lazy but really not worth the full price i got mine for 15 pounds out of game.It was great story bad excution its made the same mistakes as the p3 portable a watered down monstrosity and a insult to the original in terms of gameplay saved only by the girl side of the what if scenario but that doesnt excuse it not being released to the ps3.The gameplay is great in terms of the arena combat but omg can dialogue get to the point of ( move your damn ass to the next plot i was just reading the dialogue instead of listening at some points its great we get to see how the characters have grown but reading dialogue then listening to the character banter just felt like it was stretching out the gameplay too much in some scenesI mean i know this is a arena game but the whole point of p3 and p4 was the character could actually move explore which i dont see why arena had to be any diffrent instead im just clicking away listening to dialogue after dialogue zzzz i mean god damn how about a actual puzzle or maze to actual battle foes or reach goals its still a arena just with a bit more challenge.i loved p4 and loved p3 but omg sometimes i think altus is just milking it.

I love the game and it's amazing it's different from what I expected but it's fun and has kept me hooked a five out of five

Great 'esoteric' fighter with more storyline than say Street fighter.Game accentuates '2D' type animation.

I was sent a Spanish copy. It is region but I am not able to download DLC or play online in my region.

Funciona perfectamente en cualquier Ps3,yo tengo una de España y ningún problema.Recomendado a quien no tenga el persona 4 básico.

Un gameplay accessible pour un newb mais qui garde néanmoins la profondeur de jeu des jeux Arksys. Ce jeu est un exemple que devrait suivre Capcom avec Street Fighter ainsi que tout les jeux généralement complexe pour les néophytes.Dommage en revanche que le jeu est été déserté et n'est pas reçu une promo suffisant.
